Chiori from Genshin Impact is here to stay with her impressive Geo attacks and damage, spellbinding kit and design. Aside from being the Owner of the Chioriya Boutique, Chiori Genshin Impact is a 5-star Geo Sword character. With her ATK and DEF-scaling kit, she can make a strong impact in any Geo team composition as a Sub-DPS. However, before we optimize her kit with the best builds and teams, one must first understand how her kit works.

Chiori is a 5-star female sword character and the 10th Geo character in Genshin Impact. Despite wielding only one sword, you'll notice her attacking with dual blades, mimicking the way she handles scissors. This unique attack pattern reflects her background as a seamstress.
Originally from Inazuma, Chiori now resides within the Court of Fontaine as the esteemed owner of the Chioriya Boutique, a tailor shop renowned throughout Fontaine. Among her many accomplishments, she has crafted numerous masterpieces, including outfits for prominent figures such as Lynette, Kirara, Navia, and Lyney.
Is Chiori good in Genshin?
Chiori's elemental skill presents decent damage output, making her a suitable sub-DPS character who can contribute to battles even when not actively on the field. Pairing her with an on-field main DPS like Navia or Itto can ensure sustained damage output. In comparison to Albedo, Chiori tends to deal higher damage.
However, unlike characters such as Yelan, Furina, and Xingqiu, who offer both damage and utility through buffs or facilitating reactions, Chiori focuses solely on dealing damage. Additionally, being a Geo character, she lacks strong synergy with other elements for reactions. Thus, in certain team compositions, it may be more optimal to choose characters offering more utility or synergy with other elements.
ChioriGenshin Impact is a Geo Sub-DPS who uses her sword to slash through her enemies, and unravels an automaton doll that inflicts continuous damage to the enemies.
Learn about each and every talent of Chiori and how they work in this Chiori Genshin Impact guide.
Talents
Effects
Normal Attack: Weaving Blade
At C0, Chiori's normal attack is not worth upgrading as most of her damage comes from her elemental skill and burst. That is unless you're using Chiori as a main-DPS.
Fluttering Hasode
Upon casting Fluttering Hasode, Chiori will dash forward and summon the automaton doll named "Sode," which deals AoE Geo damage at intervals based on her ATK and DEF.
Additionally, you can hold the skill to enter aiming mode and adjust the direction of the dash, similar to how Keqing and Alhaitham's skills work..
Hiyoku: Twin Blades
Hiyoku: Twin Blades deals a single instance of Geo damage in a wide area based on Chiori's ATK and DEF.
Brocaded Collar's Beauteous Silhouette
When any member of your party is wearing an outfit different from their default outfit or wearing a wind glider other than Wings of First Flight, you will receive movement speed.
Tailor-Made
Tailor-made is tied to Chiori's elemental skill. After casting her elemental skill, she performs an upward sweep and the next button you will press will dictate what happens next.
Elemental skill - Activates Tapestry. When triggered, you will automatically switch to the next party member and grants them the "Seize the Moment" effect. During this effect, Chiori's Sode will perform coordinated attacks with the active character's normal, charged and plunging attacks. This effect is considered as elemental skill, hence it is best to focus more on enhancing this talent.
Normal Attack - Activates Tailoring. Infuses Chiori's sword with Geo for 5s.
The Finishing Touch
When there's a nearby Geo construct, Chiori will also gain Geo damage bonus.
Chiori Genshin Impact - Constellations
Listed down below are her constellations. As for Chiori Genshin Impact, C1 is already a great stopping point. However you should consider her sixth constellation if you're using her as the main DPS.
Constellations
Effect
Six Paths of Sage Silkcraft
The area of effect of Chiori's elemental skill will increase by 50%. Additionally, you will summon an additional Sode and gain the Finishing Touch when there's another Geo party member. Her C1 removes the need to have characters in the party with Geo constructs such as Zhongli and Albedo.
In Five Colors Dyed
For 10s after casting her burst, Chiori will summon Kinu which will attack nearby opponents. This attack is also considered as elemental skill.
Four Brocade Embellishments
Increases the level of Fluttering Hasode by 3.
A Tailor's Three Courtesies
After triggering the follow-up effect of the "Tailor-made" passive talent, when the current active character's normal, charged, plunging attacks hit, it will summon a simplified automaton doll, "Kinu". Up to 3 Kinus will be summoned.
Two Silken Plumules
Increases the level of Hiyoku: Twin blades by 3.
Sole Principle Pursuit
In order to turn Chiori into an on-field Main DPS with minimal drawbacks, C6 is recommended.
Unlocking C6 reduces the cooldown of Chiori's elemental skill by 12s after gaining access to the follow-up effect of the Tailor-made passive talent. Additionally, your normal attacks are enhanced and its damage will increase by 235% of your DEF.
