These articles will teach you the basics, guide you through the itemisation of your champion and highlight the synergies and counters of each pick. As a bonus, we also have some advanced tips gleaned from long and painful Ranked sessions. 😎
Toplane Champions Guides
In LoL: Wild Rift, the toplane (or Baron lane) is often isolated on the map. Apart from occasional visits from junglers, there is usually a very long duel on the top lane. As a result, the focus is on playing independent champions who can dominate their match-ups in 1v1. Fortunately, to get out of the routine, the time comes at the end of the game for teamfights. The toplaner will be reunited with the rest of the players and will be expected to play the role of the front line to tank damage and engage in combat.
The jungle is a true art. This demanding role requires a good reading of the game and careful timing to find the right opportunities at the right time. The jungler must balance his time between his farming staff and ganking attempts to help his teammates. With his punishment spell, he is also responsible for securing neutral objectives.
The midlaner has a predominant role in the game and this is not only due to his central position on the map. He receives a lot of visits and his duel is often interrupted by other players coming to roam. In return, the midlaner has to be constantly on his toes to be involved everywhere on the map without neglecting his 1v1. The middle lane is the shortest and leads the fastest to the enemy base! While he gets a lot of experience and goldWhile he gets a lot of experience and money, he has to shine for his team.
ADCs are the champions that inflict the most damage. However, it must be admitted that in general they lack a little independence. In addition to being fragile, they are often focused in all directions. This role therefore requires a great deal of rigour and positioning errors must be avoided at all costs. ADCs are also greedy gold diggers who need resources to buy their equipment quickly. They must therefore be impeccable in farming and get as many kills as possible.
The role of support may seem thankless. A shadow worker, he lives for his team and supports it in every possible way. He shines in the team and makes the others shine. But he is not a second-rate player, as he has a lot of freedom and versatility to bring his added value, both in the lane and in teamfighting. Behind every great team, there is a great support. By the way, 3 of the supports below appear in our tier list of Wild Rift champions!
Our list will be updated regularly with new guides and the release of new champions. If you still want more, please check out our beginner's guide which will be useful for everyone, regardless of your character 😉
