We'll let you read it all below. ⬇️
We start this week's recap with a game currently in early access in France: NBA All-World. After Pokémon GO and Pikmin Bloom, Niantic comes back to offer us a sports game experience in augmented reality, based on geolocation, in the world of basketball.
Scour the real world for points of interest and take on the best players in the NBA in a variety of challenges to try and recruit them to your team.
You probably know the game Little Big Planet on Playstation. Created in 2008 by Media Molecule, this platform game and its knitted character have left their mark with fun levels invented by the community.
This time, the Sackboy experience presented by Sony is coming to mobile. Ultimate Sackboy's release date is set for February 21 on Android and iOS, so sharpen your reflexes with games like Ninja Must Die to keep up with this fun jump and run.
This week, the players of Genshin Impact players were able to discover the 3.4 update of their favorite game: Under the Exquisite Night Chimes. Alongside this content release, leaks reveal the potential Mondstadt expansion and Hoyoverse officially announces some of the new features of version 3.5.
So we discover the mercenary Dehya from the Pyro element and Mika from the Cryo element as playable characters of the 3.5. Look for our Genshin guides to optimize your builds on 3.4 and 3.5 characters soon.
Starfall Fantasy: Neverland, the next MMORPG from EYOUGAME, is now available for pre-registration. Take control of your destiny and travel through time. Play as both a fearsome assassin and a peaceful farmer in this universe with anime graphics.
Collect cute animals and decorate your dream house, or put on your best armor and ride your mount to slaughter your opponents on the battlefield with your friends.
By pre-registering for Starfall Fantasy: Neverland on Android and iOS, you'll also have the opportunity to participate in exclusive events, like right now, for a chance to win a PlayStation 5 or in-game gift packs.
After several weeks of polling on Discord and YouTube, you've made your choice for the best game of the year 2022. Before revealing the final results, I invite you to read our article and watch our full video detailing the entire competition and the Mobi Awards 2022 results.
Winner in their category, we find Autochess MOBA as best mobile multiplayer game, Marvel Snap as strategy game of the year, Tower of Fantasy as best RPG, Apex Legends Mobile for shooting games, Dislyte for best gacha and Skies of Chaos for indie games.
In the end, it is Apex Legends Mobile the best mobile game of the year 2022 according to the Mobi.gg community.
As for the most anticipated games of 2023, the year starts rather well with the releases of KartRider: Drift, Eversoul or as we saw at the beginning of the recap, NBA All-World.
Among the many titles that are upcoming on mobile this year, we can mention Warzone Mobile, Harry Potter Magic Awakened, Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division Resurgence, Assassin's Creed Codename Jade or the numerous anime adaptations to come.
We continue this recap with a game that has little chance of being released in 2023, but which is already in the news. Square Enix has just announced Dragon Quest Champions on mobile, a new game of the Dragon Quest IP.
Less known in the West than Final Fantasy, this JRPG series has the particularity to display an art direction supervised by Akira Toriyama, the father of Dragon Ball. Far from the mysterious 30 seconds teaser, Square Enix presented this game during a live of more than one hour of gameplay and explanation of the developers.
In this RPG turn-based, it will be possible to enjoy the colorful world in single player with the story mode, but multiplayer addicts will be able to compete in PvP games with 50 players. Read more in our article about the announcement of Dragon Quest Champions on mobile.
You may be familiar with the MMORPG Gran Saga which has been successful in Korea. If you think the images on the screen are beautiful and you still have room on your phone for future releases in 2023, you'll be pleased to know that Gran Saga will soon launch its international release.
Currently in development at Npixel, this colorful title with anime graphics is in full preparation for its worldwide release, perhaps even with new features. Gran Saga offers a complete mobile and PC crossplay world with many customization options and an immersive adventure to be discovered soon on Android and iOS.
We're back to our best RPG of the year with the Tower of Fantasy 2.3 update: Wandering Amidst Miasma update. Available on February 2, this update will open access to a new area, the Miasmic Swamp. In the Swamp grow new interactive elements, such as neon mushrooms and mysterious eggs.
Prepare your best equipment to face the two new bosses, Jormungan and Eva, who both have lightning attacks in their second phase of combat.
X-Legend, the studio behind Sprite Fantasia, has just redesigned the MMORPG Master Topia, which has become Dragonicle. In the process, the game integrates a new subclasses system such as the Wizard, the Flower Fairy or the Master Brewer, all of which will bring different bonuses during battles.
For the occasion, Dragonicle offers events and challenges to complete in order to earn a maximum of rewards. Dragonicle is available for free on iOS and Android if you want to take advantage of the redesign to get into the adventure.
The new year is starting, and even if the news are quite quiet in terms of new releases, many mobile games are celebrating their anniversary. Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links reaches the 6 year mark with a host of rewards.
Arknights, an anime, manga and gacha RPG, is celebrating its third birthday and Cookie Run: Kingdom, one of the most popular gacha of the last few years, is reaching its second birthday with a dedicated event and special rewards for its players.
As is often the case, patents filed by major video game companies come under the microscope. This week, a patent filed by Nintendo seems to indicate that the Nintendogs IP could land on mobile.
The patent easily recalls the title released in 2005 on DS and the rumors of the release of Nintendogs on Android and iOS quickly ignited the community, curious to see what would give an adaptation of this absolute classic.
This week, Black Desert Mobile adds the character of Woosa with its new update. Woosa is the twin sister of Maegu with her fox amulet, already available since last December. In battle, the new class uses her fan and elemental attacks that call on wind, rain, lightning and sun.
Temporary events celebrate the arrival of Woosa and allow players to get daily rewards in Black Desert Mobile, available for free on Android and iOS.
First announced in 2020, the strategy game Romans: Age of Caesar, from Firefly Studios, was released last year on PC. In this game, protect your city from invasion and plan a plan to conquer territories with other players to make the glory of the Roman Empire.
The mobile version is finally back in the news at the beginning of the year with a soft-launch that is starting in some countries. For the moment, only Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines are concerned, but we hope that the game will arrive in Europe in the next few months.
Didn't spend all your money during the holidays? Don't worry, if you still have a few euros left during the crisis, you'll finally be able to buy Summoners War goodies thanks to the official launch of the Com2Us Store. Even if the figurines seem to be of good quality and the accessories are appealing, at Mobi.gg, we have a hard time with the communication strategies of the Korean developer and publisher.
For the big launch of its store, Com2Us offers you a super temporary discount of -30%! ... on shipping costs. But beware, you will still get a little sticker if you are part of the first 1,000 customers. When you see how much money people have put into Summoners War over the past 10 years, you can't help but be disappointed by the lack of special efforts for the game's community.
If you too grew up with the Need For Speed Underground games, here is a release that might interest you. Static Shift Racing is an open-world racing game that focuses on vehicle customization. Choose the most beautiful body parts to create the car of your dreams and improve the engine of your car to win races.
Game modes include classic racing, sprints, drifting and more in both single and multiplayer. Static Shift Racing currently offers only 5 vehicles for its launch on Android and iOS, but new additions will appear soon according to the developers.
After the PUBG Mobile event around Bruce Lee, Krafton Battle Royale announces a new collaboration with Polaris. This partnership brings some pretty unique buggy formats as new vehicles for your games.
The video presentation of this crossover emphasizes licensed vehicles and shooting while driving, but beware, don't do this at home in reality. The event has already started and will end on February 14.
Mattel is a brand you probably know, even if you are not specialized in Barbie collection found on flea markets. And it is especially a game studio, Mattel163, with very big productions on mobile.
This week, the studio that brings together the power of Mattel and NetEase hits a new milestone of players. More than 300 million people are playing Mattel163's titles on Android and iOS and its big hits are attracting more and more people like Skip-Bo or Phase 10. But it is especially UNO! Mobile is the one that is most often in the news with its activities esport all year long.
