Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Tomb Busters has arrived on stores: this multi-player co-op game for up to 4 players lets you plunder tombs while trying to extract yourself from the site with all your treasures, despite the ghosts and horrors that haunt these places.
  • Slime Rancher is available on Android and iOS: this slime farm simulation features full touch controls to explore the foothills of Far Far Range and build your slime ranch. Well worth the $8!
  • Dragon Raja ReRise is out in Asia: still in pop and urban mode, the game offers a dragon adventure with strategic battles, familiar characters, new stories and a vast, colourful world.
  • WamojiSword has arrived on Play Store and App Store: a game that transforms your name into Japanese kanji and a sword or katana for dismantling mob.

We end this section with Northgard, the free Epic Games game of the week.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • Ungodly opens its pre-registrations: in this brutal dark RPG where magic, blades and blood mingle, discover the world of Tarsea where even the gods are corrupted.
  • How Many Dudes? is out on mobile and PC on 30 July : based on a trend which claimed that 5% of men polled believed they could take on a gorilla single-handed, how many would you really need? The answer is up to you in this chaotic, cartoonish roguelike packed with humour.
  • WARHAMMER 40,000 BOLTGUN BOOM announced for mobile: this title brings the retro FPS experience straight to our smartphones. It's violent and edgy, with the Warhammer 40K universe as ever present, and chapters of gameplay to take your breath away.
  • Asdivine Knot is now open for pre-registration: this JRPG adventure focuses on Verselio, a cleric who no longer believes in his god and travels in search of meaning in a fantasy world where redemption may not be possible.

We continue with the interactive C-Drama Road to Empress 2, arriving on 9 June. Dynasty Warriors: Overlords has just opened its pre-registrations, as has Kickoff Football 2026. Dawnfolk, the strategic puzzle game, is coming to stores.

And Crystal Saga Nova will be coming to mobile after its browser release.

The mobile JV industry has more news in store for you this week:

  • All the announcements from Tencent Spark 2026: Chaos Zero Nightmare, the official heir to Epic Seven, will be released on 28 May in China with exclusive early access content, Call of Duty Mobile will be collaborating with Persona 5, and collab content is also planned for NIZHAN FUTURE and Delta Force.
  • Recruitment at HoYoverse: We already know about Petit Planet and Honkai Nexus Anima in this list, but this week we learn from job posts that HoYoverse is recruiting for a 3D MOBA running on Unreal Engine 5, as well as a fantasy co-op sandbox and a hardcore military shooter set in a sci-fi universe.
  • The copy with Ouros and Hoyoverse : on the one hand we have Ouros, an indie puzzle game that has found its audience. And on the other, we have Hoyoverse, the giant from Genshin and Honkai Impact, and more precisely a mini-game that looks exactly like Ouros in its title Zenless Zone Zero.
