The best mobile games to try out in July 2026!

Top mobile games for July 2026

Not sure what to play on your phone – whether you’re on public transport, at home or even in the loo? Every second spent gaming should be worth it, so the Mobi.gg editorial team brings you its selection of the best mobile games for July 2026. These high-quality free and premium titles were released in June 2026, but they’ll be a great addition to your collection and are available now on Android or iOS.

Our favourite mobile games of the month

This month we’ve fallen for two brilliant new releases. Make some space on your devices because these mobile games are going to be hard to resist.

Pokémon Champions

Hitting the mobile scene with a bang, this Pokémon battle simulator is racking up thousands upon thousands of reviews from Trainers all over the world. So join them, and set out to collect Pokémon, train them and tweak their stats to turn them into fighting machines. Deploy your Pokémon roster, either on your own or with friends, in the virtual arena of Pokémon Champions and give it your all to win your battles.

It’s actually a really simple concept: on the battlefield, it’s just you and your Pokémon battling it out. You’ll be able to customise them to your heart’s content by completing missions and squinting a little when the 3D models look a bit rough on screen. Pokémon Champions is available for free on Android and iOS now.

And Roger

Imagine you’re a young girl and one day, when you wake up, you discover that your father has been replaced by a strange stranger. Stepping out of your bedroom has never felt quite so bizarre as it does in the mobile game And Roger. This narrative novel is now available on Android and iOS for 4 euros.

Piece together the puzzle, escape from the house and find your father in this pastel-coloured tale with a bewildering atmosphere. Unless, of course, some things are far more real than others – but I’ll leave you to discover that for yourselves in the game.

Before I tell you about the other games of the month, I wanted to remind you that we have a page featuring all the very latest mobile games for those who like to stay ahead of the trends.

Mobile games you absolutely must try in July

With dozens of new releases every day across the various app stores, it’s hard to know where to start. So we’ve sifted through them all for you, and here are last month’s best new releases to try out over the next 30 days:

  • Among the Sleep: a horror experience in the style of Baby in Yellow. If you love the thrill of horror on screen, you’ll want to give this a go. This game is terrifying, particularly with the childhood fears lurking around every corner. Here, there are no fights or high scores to beat – just dark themes seen through the eyes of a very young child.
  • Guild Wars Reforged: this legendary MMORPG is now available as a free-to-play game on Android and iOS. Reforged lets you experience the Prophecies campaign with just a few adverts, offering a remaster with optimised controls and just as many massive PvE campaign missions as ever.
  • Choo Choo Charles mobile: take the controls of your customised train and face off against Charles, that bloodthirsty monster that’s half-train, half-spider. Do you have enough guns to blast him to smithereens and try to survive in this open-world game?
  • Fruit Ninja Adventures: the franchise is back with even more fruit-slicing, tests of your reflexes, obstacles to dodge and game modes packed with challenges to earn rewards.
  • Blue Fire: this PC and console Metroidvania is coming to mobile, bringing with it its reputation as a demanding platformer that requires precise timing and skill. Embark on a 3D journey to the fallen kingdom of Penumbra.
  • Cookie Run Classic: the endless runner returns as a revamp of the Ovenbreak instalment, featuring brand-new cookies. Some of the pastry creatures in the roster are specifically based on Korean culture.
  • Cascadou: this roguelike, inspired by Balatro and its poker hands, blends the concept with dominoes and chain reactions. You must survive for 7 days by optimising a deck of 52 cards with 120 stickers, 8 card types and 10 upgrade badges.
  • FIFA Heroes: Lace up your boots and take on players from around the world in super-short, fast-paced 5v5 matches. Dynamic action, a roster of legends and a carefully crafted immersive experience await.
  • Twin Shot Deluxe: Nitrome’s classic arcade game has been resurrected in a graphically remastered version featuring 200 brand-new levels spread across 4 worlds. And there’s even a local multiplayer mode for up to four players, offering competitive or co-operative fun.
  • Unhinged: you use your phone as a controller for your TV or PC to progress through a horror story. In the dark corners of a building, you use your phone as a torch to explore or even to communicate as the tension of the thriller builds.
  • Treble Bull: this original roguelike blends pub sports with deck-building. With every run, the throws come thick and fast. You’ll need to be precise, aiming for exactly the right power and the right spot to score. At the same time, with each new phase of the game, you’ll upgrade your darts to build a combo deck – here, it’s the score that counts above all else.

Thank you for reading this far. I hope you enjoy plenty of great gaming sessions this month.

By the way, if you fancy sticking to the all-time classics, I’d encourage you to take a look at our list of the best mobile games ever.
