The Walking Dead: Aftermath

The Walking Dead has always been one of my favorite TV shows, so every new game that comes out is basically an instant "I have to try this." The release of The Walking Dead: Aftermath feels like something a little different for the franchise. You'll spend less time making dialogue choices and more time fighting huge hordes of walkers. Let's see what it's all about!
As someone who has followed The Walking Dead for years, I’m always curious to see how the franchise jumps into new genres. The Walking Dead: Aftermath is an officially licensed game based on AMC's hit TV series, but instead of focusing on story choices or strategy management, it goes all in on roguelite action. Here you’ll build your squad and fight your way through dangerous runs!
The game comes from Swift Games, a studio under Ares Interactive. If that name sounds familiar, it's because the team also developed Heroes vs. Hordes, another popular mobile roguelite. You'll be meeting characters like Rick, Michonne, Daryl, T-Dog, and many more familiar faces from the original series. And if you’re specifically a fan of Daryl, you might also want to check out the Daryl Dixon State of Survival crossover!
If you’re wondering what makes the release of The Walking Dead: Aftermath different, the answer is its mix of familiar faces and roguelite survival gameplay.

With walkers around every corner and plenty of challenges waiting ahead, release of The Walking Dead: Aftermath looks like a fun ride for anyone who enjoys survival games.
