Here's everything you need to know about Genshin Fontaine, the Nation of Justice.
Genshin Impact Fontain Region History and Guide
Genshin Impact Fontaine has quite a backstory and a saddening one. It all started when Egeria followed Hydro Archon's original orders, creating humans using the Oceanids. However, due to the ideological differences between Egeria and its succeeding Archon, Focalors, the Oceanids refuse to obey Focalors and flee Fontaine.
Several hundred years after the Cataclysm, Focalors created Furina to separate her divine and human aspects. Furina then becomes the mantle of the Hydro Archon in hopes of saving Fontaine from the Prophecy. At the same time, She also created the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale, providing a verdict-giving system in trials. However, around 500 years later, Focalors was sentenced to death by the Oratrice, giving Neuvilette her full authority as the Hydro Archon. This transition clears the people of Fontaine from their ‘Original Sin,’ making them, including Furinafully human.
The Genshin Impact Fontaine Map
Genshin Fontaine only consists of three sub-regions: The Court of Fontaine, Beryl Region, and the first half of the Belleau region on version 4.0. As time passed, Hoyoverse eventually added Erinnyes Forest, Morte Region, and the other half of the Belleau Region in Genshin Impact version 4.2.
In Genshin Impact, version 4.1 released this new area above the Court of Fontaine, which includes the Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region and the Liffey Region, where the Fortress of Meropide resides.
With these new map additions, players can farm new sets of enemies underwater and on land, such as the Clockwork Meka and the Fontemer Aberrants.
