Alliance Championship in Whiteout Survival: Event mechanics
The Alliance Championship (AC) is a weekly event where six alliances compete against each other, with the highest-ranking alliance earning the most rewards. Players deploy their Whiteout Survival troops in one of three lanes, and battles are carried out automatically to determine the winner.
All Alliance Championship stages
There are 4 main stages that the Alliance Championship in Whiteout Survival consists of. Each stage spans out for a few days.
Registration Stage (Monday to Wednesday)
Once the event begins, players can register to participate. During this stage, you must select a lane—left, middle, or right—to assign your troops for battle.
If you leave your alliance after registering, you will be unable to participate until you rejoin and sign up again. Registration time starts from Monday 00.00 UTC to Wednesday 23:00 UTC. So, make sure you register before the sign-up phase is over.
Matchmaking Stage (Wednesday to Thursday)
If your alliance has at least ten participating players, it will advance to the next stage. During this phase, the game automatically selects five opponent alliances with similar power levels to ensure a fair competition.
No action is required from players during this stage, as matchmaking is handled by the game. The matchmaking stage begins on Wednesday at 23:00 UTC and ends on Thursday at 00:00 UTC.
Preparation Stage
The preparation stage occurs before each of the battles in the event, except for the first one. The duration for each preparation stage is 11 hours. During this phase, R4 and R5 alliance members can review the opponent’s previous round lane setup and power, allowing them to adjust player placements accordingly.
Strategy plays a key role in this stage. Alliance leaders can reposition troops in different lanes based on the outcome of opponent's previous battles. However, remember that opponent alliance leaders can change their lanes setup for this round without you knowing.
Battle Stage
Finally, the battle starts after each preparation stage. Remember, every single battle of the Alliance Championship in Whiteout Survival lasts for 1 hour. This stage does not require active participation of any alliance member since the battles are handled automatically.
Not all troop marches are sent out for battle. Only the top 20 most powerful marches can fight in each lane, with only the participating players receiving the rewards. Additionally, there is no troop loss in this event, so you don't have to worry about that.
The winner is determined based on lane victories—whichever alliance wins at least two or all three lanes secures the match. Rewards are then distributed based on the battle outcome.
Alliance Championship rewards
After all five battles are completed, the six alliances are ranked based on their total wins. The rankings, from highest to lowest, are as follows:
Ultimate
Diamond
Gold
Silver
Bronze
Iron
Rewards are distributed based on the alliance's final ranking. All participating players receive resources, while the Ultimate ranked alliance earns additional exclusive rewards, such as temporary city and march skins, along with a special avatar frame.
Additionally, KO rewards are the battle-specific rewards that all participants obtain. KO Reward 1 is for troops that defeat 1 enemy. KO Reward 2 is for troops that defeat 2 enemies.
Alliance Championship in Whiteout Survival: Tips and Tricks
Following are a few tips to keep in mind while participating in the Alliance Championship in Whiteout Survival:
Make sure every player from your alliance places their troops in the middle lane during the registration phase. Once the matchmaking is done, the R4 and R5 members will fill in the other two lanes. This increases the chances of winning two lanes in every battle.
The ideal troop formation is 50/20/30. Use this ratio when you register your troops to the lanes.
Buffs can be used in the Alliance Championship event. Ask all the participating players to use their Whiteout Survival pet buffs and other useful buffs available before they dispatch troops.
