In this Recap #239, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases you won't want to miss.

Sit back and relax as we round up all the week's mobile games news! On the agenda: news of an Overwatch mobile game, Geralt and Jaskier in Reigns: The Witcher, the release date for Neverness to Everness and a whole host of other news to share with you.

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on stores:

  • Reigns: The Witcher has been released on Play Store and App Store, and features simple gameplay: swipe the cards left or right to make strategic decisions that are crucial to your kingdom.
  • Subway Surfers City is available on Play Store and App Store. The gameplay hasn't really changed, but the AD has been modernised and there's a new build and progression system.
  • Abyssdia is out on Play Store and App Store, a new gacha RPG with real-time combat and a team of 4 characters.
  • Cards and Castles Ultimate is available on Play Store and App Store, a mix of TCG and tactical combat, with a whole host of factions to merge.

Then there's Rainbow Six Mobile, available globally on Play Store and App Store. The puzzle game Mind Shaper has been released on Play Store and App Store.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark on Play Store and App Store this week.

  • Blizzard has announced Overwatch Rush, a brand-new game in the licence specially developed for mobile. The programme includes a top-down hero shooter.
  • Neverness to Everness finally has a release date, scheduled for 29 April on Play Store and App Store.
  • Pokémon Champions will be arriving in 2026. Get ready for an ultra-competitive Pokémon arena brawler with single or double, ranked or casual battles.
  • Mystery of Silence comes out on 6 March, a pixel art point'n'click inspired by the most memorable titles of the 90s.

Gambonanza, a chess-based roguelite, is up for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store. Another game up for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store is Ball x Pit, a roguelite survivor with ball fusion. Back to the announcements, with Kingdom Rush 6 Genesis coming to mobile.

The Division Resurgence has some news, with a potential release date before April 2026. Radiant: Guardians of Light, an action RPG with fast-paced combat, is coming to Play Store and App Store.

Pepper Grinder and Beyblade X Xone to be released on Crunchyroll subscriptions. ZakuzakuSlash, a new auto-battler, will be available on stores in March. Meanwhile, Star Sailors is set for a soft launch in the US and Indonesia. And we end this section with DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY, the 3v3 fighting game that's up for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store.
