Kinich is revealed to be a five-star Dendro character wielding a claymore weapon. His kit also suggests he's a primary DPS, whose damage gets ramped up with the help of Burning and Burgeon reaction, pretty much like Emilie. Now, if you want to include him on your team and simply want him to become stronger, you've found the right place. Here's the best Kinich Genshin Impact guide you'll ever need, showing you all of the best artifacts, weapons, teams for the dendro hypercarry.
Due to one of Kinich's passive that provides Nightsoul points to him when the enemies are affected by Burning or Burgeon, it is best to form a team around these reactions.
Having that said, his best team right now will consist of Kinich himself, Emilie, Xiangling and Bennett. Whilst Kinich is dealing damage on-field, Emilie, Xiangling and Bennett's abilities will be responsible as well for triggering Burning reaction. Emilie's heavy reliance on burning also ramps up her damage, which overall improves the team's damage output. The addition of Bennett to the team is also recommended as all the other members of the team scale with ATK.
Alternatively, players could opt for a Burgeon team consisting of Kinich, Furina, Xiangling, and Bennett.
By including Furina, the Burgeon reaction can take place. Her elemental skill not only damages enemies off-field but also provides decent Hydro application. On top of that, Furina's ultimate is capable of increasing the damage of all party members. She can easily stack as many fanfares as needed due to the presence of a healer and buffer like Bennett.
Look at the best weapons Kinich mains can get for the dendro dps!
Needless to say, Kinich's signature weapon, Fang of the Mountain King is his best-in-slot. It boasts the highest base ATK, and provides crit rate. On top of that, this weapon increases Kinich's elemental skill and elemental burst damage depending on how many passive stacks he has. It is ideal to have Pyro members though to trigger burning or burgeon, as it provides more stack.
Beacon of the Reed Sea is considered the second-best weapon for him. While it slightly falls short in base ATK compared to his signature weapon, it compensates by providing a significant attack boost from its passive.
Blackcliff Slasher is among the best free-to-play weapons for Kinich. It provides a decent amount of crit damage and a good number of ATK values.
Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword is not a bad option as well for a beginner although, you won't have that much access to more offensive stats. It gives energy recharge which enables Kinich to cast his ultimate more often, and provides attack attributes.
Every Natlan DPS character with a Nightsoul's Blessing mechanic needs the Obsidian Codex set, which means it is also good for Kinich. When Kinich is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state, he receives damage boost. And as he consumes Nightsoul points, he also enjoys another 40% crit rate.
If there are no other characters who are using this artifact set, Kinich can go for Deepwood Memories. Deepwood Memories allows Kinich to gain dendro damage bonus. To top if off, his attacks reduce the resistance of the enemies hit, therefore increasing his damage output.
Berserker is a great artifact set to use for Kinich early on, especially if Kinich is able to maintain his health below 70%. In total, the amount of crit rate he can receive through this can reach to up to 36%.
Learn how to play Kinich and how his attacks, passives and constellations work.
Upon using Kinich's elemental skill, he attaches to a nearby enemy through a grappling hook and enters the Nightsoul's Blessing with 0 points. If no opponent is nearby, he will instead hook forward and swing mid-air.
During Nightsoul's Blessing which lasts for 10s, he gaind 2 Nightsoul points every second. While hooked onto the enemy, Kinich will perform variable attackd. Each normal attack he does in this state will fire loop shot damage to the enemy which is considered as elemental skill. Now, when the Nightsoul points have reached the maximum amount, he can cast his elemental skill again to cast the Scalespiker Cannon, which consumes all of his nightsoul points to deal nightsoul-aligned dendro damage.
Meanwhile, Kinich's ultimate, allows him to use K'uhul Ajaw which enables him to deal Nightsoul-aligned AoE dendro damage. While this ultimate is up, Ajaw will unleash dragon breath at intervals, and it will also extend Kinich's Nightsoul's Blessing by 1.7 seconds.
Kinich's main passive makes the opponents hit by his elemental skill to enter the desolation state during Nightsoul's Blessing state. And when they are affected by burning or burgeon reaction, they will restore Nightsoul Points to Kinich. Another passive of Kinich enables him to receive 1 stack of this passive when a party member triggers Nightsoul Burst. When elemental skill is used, he will use all the stacks to increase his damage by a whopping 320% of his ATK.
Here are all of Kinich's constellations in Genshin Impact.

Natlan is starting strong this time, with the two new additions in 5.0, Mualani and Kinich, showing very promising kits. Kinich has a decent damage multiplier and easy access to characters that synergize well with him. However, the main issue with using Kinich is that his team composition is strictly tied to burning and burgeon teams.
Kinich was born on November 11, and is speculated to be around 25+ years old.
Kinich uses a medium model and stands at 5'5", the same height as Heizou and Furina.
