Our tips for getting started with catalyst farming

Although the drop rate of catalysts in Epic Seven is quite low, they are usually obtained by completing specific levels several times, especially those present in the HnR (Untold Story: a panel of maps that unlocks after completing Episode 1). You will find at the end of the article the most relevant locations according to the desired catalysts.

Furthermore, if there is an event going on and you have a good team, farm the only level with a variable difficulty and choose the highest one. This way, you will quickly collect a maximum amount of currency to spend in the special shop, which usually offers many items, including catalysts.

But before rushing to do levels in a loop, it is essential to have a good pet. Indeed, this little creature will give you significant bonuses, increasing the rewards obtained at the end of the mission (exchange currencies, catalysts...). In other words, with a bit of luck, you can even win random catalysts as an extra.

Indeed, if you improve the laboratory in the bell tower up to level 3 with your Orbis breaths, you will unlock the possibility of transforming the catalysts you have no use for into those you are looking for. The Epic Seven Catalyst: Gooey Jelly

Gooey Jelly is the only catalyst that does not have an optimal location for farming. If you need it, you will have to make a choice:

• Level with Jelly + an epic catalyst: HnR 3S: S2 or HnR 7: 7-S1.
• Level with an epic catalyst, but jelly only obtainable in the shop: UH 1 (1-S2).
