Dive into the colourful, yet tormented world of the Shatterlands with theannouncement of Fableborne. Let's find out what's in store for Pixion Games' new mobile title, which blends genres with an action game base, RPG components and pervasive strategy.
In development since the beginning of 2021, the announcement of Fableborne has just been made official by Pixion Games. The action will take place in the Shatterlands, a kingdom in which chaos reigns following a mysterious event.

In terms of gameplay, Fableborne is a multiplayer action RPG in isometric view that integrates a strategic aspect with the construction of bases. Your objective will be to build a solid base on your island to defend yourself from opposing attacks and to go and plunder those of your enemies. As in Clash of Clans, the gameplay is asynchronous. You will not cross paths with your opponents in PvP. PvE content will also be present to earn additional rewards and improve your skills.
Like more and more mobile games, Fableborn will use NFT technology to reward players. However, Pixion Games has stated that it is moving away from a pay-to-earn model and is opting for play-to-own. NFTs can be purchased with in-game currency and will increase in value based on play time. No further details are available at the moment, but Echoes of Heroes and Island tokens are expected to go on sale before the end of the year.
According to the road map available on the game's website, the launch of the first alpha phase should take place in the summer of 2022. You can already subscribe to the newsletter to be informed as soon as registrations are open.

We can also see that the Pixion League will be officially unveiled in the fourth quarter of 2022. Indeed, Fableborne is intended to be competitive, although Kam Punia, the founder of Pixion Games, has indicated that he wants the game to be accessible and fun, without being too time consuming.
The announcement of Fableborne was not accompanied by a release date, but it is likely that it will be available in early 2023 if the testing phases are successful. While you're waiting to play Fableborne, check out other games in our Top Mobile RPGs.
