Whiteout Survival bear trap​: how to use it for the Bear Hunt event?

As players participate in the popular Bear Hunt event, setting up and enhancing the bear trap becomes essential for collecting high rewards. This article dives into the mechanics of the Whiteout Survival bear trap and how to effectively use it.

Whiteout Survival bear trap: the Bear Hunt event overview

The Bear Hunt is one of the most frequent events in Whiteout Survival (as well as the Foundry Battle event), occurring every 47.5 hours (approximately every 2 days). In this event, high-ranking alliance members (Leaders and R4 or higher) are responsible for setting the Hunting Trap.

Before we dive into what a Whiteout Survival bear trap is, here are the event rules for the Bear Hunt event:

• Only Alliance leaders and R4 or higher alliance members can set the Hunting Trap. Traps can be set manually and by schedule.
• All alliance members are eligible to join rallies against the Raging Bear once the trap is set.
• The event lasts for 30 minutes, during which you must defeat the Raging Bear.
• The more damage your Whiteout Survival heroes and troops deal to the raging bear, the better the rewards you’ll receive. These rewards include various materials, rare items, and gear.

How to set the bear trap?

A bear trap, or simply a trap, is set by leaders and high-ranking members of your alliance. They have the option to set the trap either manually or by schedule.

• Purpose: This Whiteout Survival bear trap is designed to restrain a "Raging Bear" and is placed in the center of your alliance.

• Setting the Trap:
  Players with the authority to set the trap can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Event menu.
  2. Select Enable.
  3. Adjust the timing based on the availability of alliance members.

Alternatively, they can manually activate the trap once the event starts.

Whiteout Survival bear trap: Trap Enhancement

To increase your attack against the Raging Bear, consider contributing Explosive Arrowheads to the Trap Enhancement. The Trap Enhancement feature allows players to strengthen the Whiteout Survival bear trap, and rewards will be distributed based on each individual’s contribution. The more you contribute, the greater your potential rewards. 

Here is how to contribute to the Trap Enhancement and earn better rewards in the Bear Hunt event:

1. Go to Events.
2. On bottom-right corner of the screen, there is an icon with "Trap Enhancement" written below. Click on it.
3. Press the "Contribute" button to contribute Explosive Arrowheads in order to enhance the bear trap.

Once the Trap expires, the Trap Enhancement level will be reset. Alliance members can enhance the Whiteout Survival bear trap by contributing material again.

Note: Alliance rewards will not be distributed to members who leave before the reward distribution phase.
