Kazuha, a masterful swordsman and a proud member of the Kaedehara Clan, possesses a wandering spirit, letting the winds of fate guide his path. It is this trait that also led him to align himself with the Crux with Beidou, seeking refuge as an outlaw in flight following the tragic loss of his closest friend at the hands of the Raiden Shogun.

Is Kazuha good in Genshin?

Despite his seemingly straightforward kit, Kazuha is the type of support who brings a lot to the table in terms of utility. While he may not dish out high damage numbers himself, he plays a massive role in amplifying the damage of DPS characters like Raiden Shogun, Tartaglia, Neuvillette, and more.

Kazuha Genshin Impact

Kazuha is an anemo support who does plenty of things when deployed, from rounding up enemies, providing damage buff from his passive and Viridescent Venerer set, enabling reactions to dealing off-field damage. What makes him even more appealing is his low investment requirement; he can work effectively with any artifact sets and stats, and he offers a wide range of options when it comes to weapons. Ultimately, since he is a buffer that can support characters who deal elemental damage except for Dendro and Geo, you will have no issues in finding a good team for Kazuha.

The only downside to pulling for him is doing so can be quite expensive due to him being a 5-star character. On top of it, using him requires leveling him to level 90 for transformative reactions.

Talent

Effect

Normal Attack: Garyuu Bladework

While Kazuha is skilled in using his sword, his normal attacks aren't that significant in game unless you're using him as a physical DPS.

Chihayaburu

Kazuha unleashes the rushing wind which pulls objects, even enemy drops, and opponents towards Kazuha's position. Afterwards, it will lift Kazuha up into the air. From here, he can cast Midare Ranzan and plunge down, dealing anemo damage upon impact. After landing, it will also create a wind tunnel that once again pulls in nearby objects and opponents within a small area. This skill can be used while mid-air which is helpful in exploration as it can allow you to reach higher places.

Kazuha Slash

Kazuha's burst does a slash unleashes a field called the Autumn Whirlwind, and deals anemo damage.

If it comes in contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will deal additional elemental damage.

Cloud Strider

Decreases the sprinting stamina consumption of the entire party by 20%.

Soumon Swordsmanship

If Chihayaburu or his skill comes into contact with either Hydro, Pyro, Cryo and Electro upon casting, it will swirl and absorb the element, and deal another instance of damage based on it during the plunging attack.

Poetics of Fuubutsu

Kazuha's powerful buffs mainly come from this passive skill. After swirling an element, it will provide a damage boost to the element absorbed based on his elemental mastery. Having that said, it is essential that you give him as many elemental mastery stats as you can, 1000 EM if possible.
