Wizarding friends, welcome to another article dedicated to Season 1 of Quidditch in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. This game on broomsticks is an integral part of the wizarding world, so it was inevitable to find it in HPHM! The Quidditch quest series is completely optional, it is part of the side quests and has no connection to the main story, although it does occasionally refer to it. This means that you are free to experience the Quidditch adventure as you wish. If you don't like it and would rather spend your energy advancing the main story, well, you have a choice. So if you're still wondering if you can play Quidditch in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, the answer is yes, of course! You are part of your House's team and proudly defend its colours! So follow me, I'll explain everything. 🧹
Well, going on adventures in the Quidditch side-quest suite allows you to unlock many friends with whom you can interact in all the mini-games (Chatterboxes, Eat with a Friend and Drink a Juggle). You can also find them in the Library.
Quidditch allows you to unlock new skills and flying techniques and improve your general knowledge.
But that's not all, very often one of your 3 daily quests will require you to play a Quidditch match. If you haven't started your Quidditch adventure, well, this daily quest won't be possible.
However, you'll have to be patient, as the Quidditch side quests only unlock in Chapter 6 of Year 2! So take it easy as you go through the story before you prove yourself on a broom! Finally, there are many rewards to be picked up during the quests.
The purpose of this article is not to tell you the story, nor to spoil anything for you (although, be careful not to scroll too far down the page if you want to find out for yourself). The aim is to provide you with a Quidditch walkthrough so that you have a clear idea of the resource cost before you embark on the adventure. I will tell you how many stages you will find, what rewards you will get, how much it will cost you in energy, gems and time. Of course, I'll also give you the answers to the questions and quizzes, because sometimes you'll need to answer correctly. A bit like course questions, after all.
💡 Please note: the whole beginning of your Quidditch adventure flows without delay. Unlike the main story, you'll be able to move on quite quickly, at first anyway.
Important tip for those who are just starting out: remember to keep a small stock of coins with you. A Quidditch match costs 200 coins. And there are many matches to play to advance in the story (not at the beginning, but later on). It would be a pity not to be able to advance for lack of savings!
Also, you should know that if you lose a Quidditch match, you lose the amount invested (200 coins) and you will have to wait 7 hours before you can start the next match. A small reward of 70 coins will be given to you in case of defeat. However, if you want to bypass the waiting time, you will have to pay gems. It is therefore preferable not to lose your matches.
And then honestly, to not win a Quidditch match, you really have to do it on purpose! Stay focused for 2 seconds and you'll be fine. Your reward will be bigger, but I think even if you lose, it validates the fact that you participated in the match (I'm not sure, because I never lost) 😂 !
In addition, some of the questions your friends will ask you will force you to choose between 2 or 3 possibilities. I'm not talking about quizzes or questions that call on your knowledge, but questions that are part of the story's progress. Don't panic about choosing your answers. Your choices on this type of question do not influence the rest of the story. They will only allow you to gain points in one of the 3 attributes (for more details on the attributes, do not hesitate to consult our beginner's guide).
13 chapters await you in Quidditch Season 1, each containing between 4 and 6 tasks to complete. Some of the places you have to go to depend on your House. In this case, I belong to House Gryffindor. In addition, some quests are completed without delay, and others require a waiting time, I'll tell you that too.

Before you play the match, you will have a choice to make. You can choose which strategy you want to use. This will have a direct effect on the match and the story, but the game mechanics will always be the same, regardless of your choice.
Play the match between Houses. Cost = 450 coins. Rewards : 7 xp + 10 energy points + 30 Quidditch cups.
Chapter 9, like chapter 12, is atime-limited event chapter. Indeed, you will have precisely 3 days and 4 hours to complete all parts of this event. It is divided into 4 parts, each consisting of 4 to 6 tasks. If you complete this event in its entirety and within the allotted time, you will earn your very own Comet broom and unlock a special skill related to this broom.
However, there is no obligation to complete this "Searching for a Comet" event. Indeed, if you decide not to take part in the adventure of this chapter 9, well, let the time of the event pass without participating in it (3 days and 4 hours) and you will be sent directly to chapter 10.
We leave it up to you whether you want to do this chapter or not, if you want help viewing it in its entirety, you can go to this detailed walkthrough of Chapter 9.

You will unlock a skin and the Quidditch Cup will be placed in the cupboard on the lower west floor.
