Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony : Quest Guide

Fontaine has recently released the final subregions in Genshin Impact, the Nostoi Region, and the Sea of Bygone Eras, before heading to Natlan. To unlock every corner of this map, players must first initiate and complete the Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony quest line and help save the citizens of Remuria. Continue reading to learn how to complete each step and solve puzzle, and what rewards you can earn from it.

Petrichorror Dream - Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony

Petrichorror Dream is the first act of the Canticles of Harmony.

After speaking with the NPC, three treasure hoarders will appear, and you must defeat them. Once they're defeated, examine the chest containing the treasure, triggering a brief cutscene. After the cutscene, follow the navigation to Petrichor, where you'll meet a man and engage in dialogue.

Next, head to the eastern part of Petrichor, where you'll find a ruin that houses a Praetorian Golem.

Defeat the Golem, and a white talking cat named "Osse" will appear. Osse will guide you to a body of deep water, leading you to a new underground region called Faded Castle. This area also contains the world boss, the Statue of Marble and Brass.

As you progress deeper into the Faded Castle of the Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony quest, you'll unlock the ability to use the "Symphony," which can unleash two types of soundwaves.

In the Hall of the Sea King - Underwater Nocturne

Upon reaching this location, your next task of the Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony quest is to acquire the Blank Score. To solve this puzzle, use your Symphony (Press T and Hold E to adjust the slider) to align the icon on the reed pipe with the corresponding icon on the wall.

Once completed, head to the mural and play the Symphony, then insert the Blank Score into the monument. This will trigger the appearance of Boethius, followed by a group of summoned golems.

Defeat all the golems and speak with Osse once again. After completing this quest, you'll gain access to a new region called the Sea of Bygone Eras.

Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony - Last day of Remuria

Keep swimming forward until you reach the area where Scylla, the Dragon King, is bound by chains. To free Scylla, you must follow each chain to its source. To guide you, we've outlined the three key locations you need to visit. At each location, defeat the enemies and solve the puzzle around the stone pillars where the chains are connected. Once you've completed the puzzle, approach the stone pillar and use the Symphony to break the chains.

Before heading to the first location in the south, prepare your gear as you'll encounter several golems.

To complete the Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony quest, at the second location, in the northwestern part, you will face another golem. However, whether you need to fight this golem depends on the trust gauge that appears next to it. If you give the correct responses, which are typically the lowest options, you can succeed in negotiating with the golem, avoiding a fight.

At the final location to the east, you'll find a Resonant Anemones puzzle. This puzzle involves lighting up flowers around the pillar with the help of washer octopi. To solve it, guide the octopi to a position where they light up the entire flower within their reach. Once you find the correct position, use the Symphony to stop the octopus in place. Repeat these steps for each group of flowers to complete the puzzle.

After completing the cutscene, return to Scylla's location and pass through the Initium Iani with Scylla by breaking the seal and shattering the stalactites in your way.

Gradus ad Capitolium of the Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony

For the next stop of the  Genshin Impact Canticles of Harmony quest, Follow the navigation to reach the Domus Aurea. After a bit of exploration, you'll enter a new area where you'll need to fight against three Praetorian Golems using only the Traveler.

Next, you'll have to repair the golden aqueducts by following these steps.

Golden Aqueduct Reconstruction: Part I

For the first part of this sub-quest, use the light-guiding device, adjust the camera angle, and align it with the mural's design. To save time, simply tap the left button three times and the down button twice.

After that, return the flying bird phantasms to their original positions by getting near them. Make sure to adjust each one correctly.

Next, follow the bird phantasms to begin reconstructing the second Golden Aqueduct.

Golden Aqueduct Reconstruction: Part II

For the second part of the reconstruction, simply follow the golden bee. As with the previous step, return the flying bird phantasms to their correct positions and then use the light-guiding device to illuminate the horn. This time, tap the right button three times and the up button once.

Requiem of the Canticles of Harmony quest

Continue with the first part of this sub-quest, which involves releasing the ichor and playing the Symphony. Follow the quest markers, and you'll eventually reach a new area where you must defeat Boethius.

After defeating him, head to the podium and start playing the harp. Be sure to press the space bar at the right time to avoid repeating the sequence.
