Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley quest has no prerequisite quests, meaning you can begin the quest at your whim. However, we highly suggest completing the main quest, Chenyu's Blessings of the Sunken Jade first with the help of our guide.

How to Initiate the Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley quest

Utilize the teleport waypoint located at Yaodie Valley and head south to locate a cave. Enter the cave to immediately initiate the quest.

As you approach the Carefree Simulacrum, dialogue will initiate. After the dialogue concludes, approach the butterfly as it flies towards the jar floating above. Do not forget to open the common chest that will appear.

Chase the butterflies into the medicine jar

Use this map as a guide for Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley and search across the area to chase all the butterflies to place all the butterflies into the medicine jar.

Butterfly 1 in Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley

Head to the designated spot and utilize the Golden Carp's Leap to reach the spiderweb-covered area. Use any attack to strike the barrel and destroy the web, enabling passage through it. It's advisable to use a bow character to avoid taking damage.

Enter the area and destroy the crates by blowing up the barrels. Afterwards, enemies will appear which you will have to defeat to get an exquisite chest and the butterfly.

Butterfly 2

From the previous location, jump down and you will find a mural on the wall. Take the simulacrum positioned to its right and place it onto the glowing tile nearby. Then, position yourself atop the tallest upward-growing stone adjacent to the tile to complete the puzzle. The butterfly will come out of the mural and will guide you towards an exquisite chest.

Butterfly 3

From your previous location, look around and you will find a time-trial challenge. Interact with it and finish the challenge. Completing the challenge will bring you inside a jar with an exquisite chest and unveil a blue butterfly.

Butterfly 4 in Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley

Head to the fourth location and look for the pot made out of stone that is surrounded by a group of purple butterflies.

After interacting with it in Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley, the butterflies will disperse, and you'll be tasked with retrieving each one. Refer to this image as a guide to know where to run in order to catch the butterflies.

The first butterfly is located just right next to the stone with red flowers, the second is inside the stone jar and the third can be found just on top of the smallest protruding rock. Meanwhile the last butterfly is placed higher, on top of the tall rock. You can either climb up or use the Windmill mechanism to easily reach the top. Interact with each butterfly to catch them to finish the puzzle and receive an exquisite chest.

Head to the final location and you will find a large pot with the green butterfly inside of it.

Take the stone cauldron and position it in front of another large pot sitting in front, containing a small cauldron. This action will eliminate the barrier. After removing the barrier, place the two cauldrons on either side of the large pot holding the green butterfly. This will dispel the transparent barrier and release the butterfly within. Once you've retrieved all the butterflies, use the Golden Carp's Leap to exit the area and claim the exquisite chest.

And you're done with the first part! Now that the butterflies are now complete, head back to the simulacrum that you first spoke with at the entrance. After a short conversation and a quick cutscene, you will have to investigate the ancient tree. Use the Golden Carp's Leap to easily make your way towards it. Next, interact with the branch to receive the Ancient Tree Branch and a Luxurious Chest.

Silently The Butterfly Crosses The Valley Quest Guide- Go to the Adeptus's Repose

Adjacent to the luxurious chest, you'll find three butterflies. Tap the investigate button to swiftly reach the Adeptus's Repose. Upon arrival, you'll encounter a large medicine jar. Investigate the medicine jar and submit the Ancient Tree Branch.

After a short cutscene, follow the butterfly towards a previously sealed area to redeem a Luxurious chest. Remember to read the Ancient Text (I) from one of the brown shelves to get the "When Comes Spring or Autumn?" achievement.
