Ports of the Torchlight licence to mobile have been underway for several years now and then abandoned before reaching completion. However, Torchlight Infinite really seems to be getting this fan hope off the ground. XD Inc. is behind it, with the support of Perfect World, which has owned the licence since it was acquired from Runic Games. Let's check out the trailer Cinematic for the game on Android and iOS.
This trailer from IGN has everything that made Torchlight a success. The footage reveals carefully designed character classes, colourful environments and, despite its purely Cinematic look, the promise of edgy hack'n'slash gameplay and loot galore.
The story of Torchlight Infinite on mobile takes place 200 years after the adventures of players in Torchlight 2, and of course the Ember problem is back... So warm up your blade and come pour waves of flame on my hordes of enemies by pre-registering for Torchlight Infinite today.
This will allow you to have a chance to access the closed beta, to get exclusive rewards at the time of launch, but also to not miss any news about the game. To pre-register, simply go to the official website of the game and enter your Google account. Alternatively, you can also find it on Tatap.io where the developers talk more in depth about their game.

Note that this development comes at a time when Perfect World has just been bought by Embracer Group AB (which owns THQ Nordic). Finally, if you like hack'n slash, Diablo-like gameplay or Path of Exile, Torchlight Infinite is not your only lifeline. You should take a look at Undecember, which intends to use all the codes of the genre's successes.
