We first told you about the development of Rust Mobile in January 2024. Almost two years later, we're announcing the first Rust Mobile closed beta, which will be taking place very soon. Registration is about to close, so if you're interested, don't wait any longer!

If Christmas dinners with the family are dampening your spirits, you'll be able to console yourself by taking part in the Rust Mobile closed beta, open until 26 December 2025! In fact, it's taking place right now, but don't worry, you can still sign up until 19 December on the game's official website. You've got 2 days left, so don't waste any time!

After more than a million pre-registrations and a new trailer unveiled at the Game Awards, Facepunch and Level Infinite have finally decided to take the next step.cided to take the next step in the development of its port of the multiplayer survival game, released on PC in 2018.

What can you expect from the Rust Mobile closed beta?

If you haven't yet got your hands on the Rust Mobile closed beta, here's a sneak preview of what's in store. The programme will feature three different game modes:

• Standard mode, which is fairly easy to get to grips with without taking away any of the tension typical of survival games.
• Hardcore mode, which, as its name suggests, will be merciless for players.
• Territory Clash mode, which is combat-oriented.

Unsurprisingly, whichever mode you choose, you'll find yourself in a hostile world where you'll have to craft, fight and survive in the face of the dangers that await you. If you've never tried Rust before, you should know that everything in the game wants you dead, including other players. Registration for the Rust Mobile closed beta closes on 19 December, so if you're interested, don't waste any time pre-registering!
