Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago is a title with an old-school design that's part Tamagotchi-style management game, part RPG and part idle game. The game will be available in April 2024 on PC, as well as on Android and iOS! Are you ready to save the world of fairies from the terrifying Dark Lord? You hold their fate in your hands, and who better to help you than the little hero you're going to train by the sweat of your brow? Let's see what the release of Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago has for you.
In Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago, you play the guardian spirit of a Yolk Hero, a hero who hatches from an egg. In this RPG-style idle game for PC and mobile, you'll help the egg to hatch, then grow the newborn into an apprentice hero capable of fighting the Dark Lord, who is wreaking havoc on the kingdom.

Looking after your hero is extremely simple: you have a range of actions at your disposal, and you can put up to five actions in a queue. Feeding your hero, bathing him or putting him to sleep: each of these actions takes a certain amount of time in real life.
So you can leave the game running in the background while your hero does what you've asked him to do. To make sure he doesn't run out of anything, keep a close eye on his various needs gauges, and start training him from an early age. If you've ever played with a Tamagotchi, you'll no doubt remember: don't forget your hero and look after him several times a day.

After an hour or so of play, your hero will be ready to discover the world, and a whole new dimension will open up. As well as being an idle game, Yolk Heroes is also an RPG in which your hero will gain experience by completing quests. As you gain equipment, you can take on the most fearsome monsters in the fairy realm in simple battles (reminiscent of Pokemon!), during which you can give your hero a helping hand. If a monster gives you trouble, don't panic! All you have to do is train your hero a little more, thanks to the various quests and mini-games available.
With the release of Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago, you'll be able to discover an extremely refreshing game that will play on your nostalgia, just like the dungeon crawler Moonshades RPG did in the past. It is indeed a game from 2024, but its retro style and 8-bit music will certainly remind older players of NES or Game Boy games.
To get a better idea of the game, you can download the PC demo by clicking on the "Play on PC" button above. You can also watch the video below to familiarise yourself with the game's mechanics.
The release of Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago will give us the chance to discover an extremely promising game with simple but effective gameplay. There are no microtransactions involved, making it the perfect way to experience an authentic one-on-one adventure with your hero in the making.
We at Mobi.gg can't wait to try it out, and it's scheduled for release of Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago in April 2024. The only downside is that the game is currently only available in English. Are you ready to give birth to the hero who will defeat the Lord of the Frogs?
