In this recap #245, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Sit back and relax as we round up the week's mobile games news! On the programme: Neverness to Everness takes us into its futuristic city, Guild Wars is coming to mobile this summer, The Walking Dead has its own roguelite and we've got a whole heap of other news to share with you.

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with a number of games now available on the stores:

  • Neverness to Everness has arrived on stores : Say hello to the anomalies you'll have to hunt down as an independent hunter. It's a very complete universe, but at the cost of graphics optimisation and performance, according to early feedback.
  • Drova Forsaken Kin is available on the stores: complete missions, find mentors to teach you new techniques and become a formidable fighter, capable of mastering the flow of combat.
  • Neo Artifacts is out on mobile: this strategy game sends you on a tour of a modern city where artefacts come to life in the form of characters you can collect to build up your squad. Watch out for the rather salty business model!
  • Beholder: Conductor has arrived on Android and iOS: get on board the train, catch those who don't pay their fare by keeping an eye on passengers, report your colleagues and keep order!

For its part, Inmost is joining the Google Play Pass. The fighting game Last Hunter K: Seoul has arrived on Android and iOS. The strategic RPG Genesis War has been released globally on mobile. The collection game Animal Hero: Mobile MMORPG has arrived on Android. Nova Drift was released globally on smartphones.

We end this section with the free Epic Games Store game of the week, Streets of Rage 4.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and testing phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • Guild Wars Reforged is coming to mobile this summer: it's the phenomenal announcement of the week! With optimised controls, as many big PvE campaign missions as ever, fierce PvP battles and a world that's more alive than ever.
  • The Walking Dead: Aftermath announced for this summer: this roguelite brings back the survivors and iconic locations from the series with a relentless invasion.
  • Minishoot Adventures is out on 21 May: control a highly manoeuvrable ship in a variety of battles, from the smallest horde of mobs to bullet hell boss battles.
  • Tomb Busters will be out on 27 May : this multi-player co-op game for up to 4 players puts you in the role of Supernatural Company employees who have to plunder tombs, explore ruins and recover treasures.

Then there's the otome Silent Whispers , which is now open for pre-registration. The roguelite deckbuilder Rogue Reigns was announced at Gamescom Latin America. The Balatro Replicat-style game is now open for pre-registration. Moonton has announced the soft launch of Attack on Zombies and Haunted Headlines: Don't Scream.
