Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe opens its pre-registrations: the idle game returns with a new match-3 title and even more cats to collect, on Play Store and App Store.
  • Solo Leveling Karma unveils its trailer and will be released this year: the game was announced a year ago, and this Netmarble title will cover the 27 years eclipsed in the original series.
  • Annulus arrives on PC and mobile on 8 April: immerse yourself in a dark fantasy universe on Play Store and App Store, play as a mercenary group worthy of the Black Company and collect resources and weapons to improve your squad.
  • Merchant of Skies is up for pre-registration before its release on 14 April on Play Store and App Store: this aerial pixel art world sends you trading from town to town aboard your trading airship. Choose which resources to trade and negotiate all your deals.

Then there's Sword x Staff , which is opening its worldwide pre-registration on Play Store and App Store. FIFA Heroes will be fully released on 28 April. The city builder Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt has just opened its pre-registration on Play Store.

Slime Rancher arrives on Play Store and App Store on 26 May. And Pokémon Champions will be released on 8 April. Lilith Games' next game, Clash of Critters, is now open for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store. DIGIMON UP has been announced for mobile release in 2026. Meanwhile, dating sim Light & Night has released a trailer for its Asian release.

Other news and events from the mobile games industry

The mobile JV industry has more news in store for you this week:

  • Riot Games is working on a Genshin-like game: that's what the job adverts for an open world project with gameplay inspired by the Hoyoverse game might announce.
  • Saudi investment fund Savvy Games acquires Moonton: the games affected in their regular production will be Mobile Legends, Acecraft, Watcher of Realms, Silver and Blood, Magic Chess and Magic Rush among others.
  • Announcements at Devsisters DevNow 2026: the release of CookieRun: Ovensmash, CookieRun Crumble, a casual game scheduled for the end of 2026 with an idle RPG focus, CookieRun Kingdom , a collaboration with K-Pop phenomenon Demon Hunters, and CookieRun: New World, an open world planned for 2029.
