In this recap #242, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Sit back and relax as we round up the week's mobile games news! On the programme: we're taking a nostalgic RPG trip with the announcement of Gothic Classic on mobile, Dragon Quest Smash/Grow opens its pre-registrations, our Pokémon GO data will be used by pizza delivery robots and we've got a whole heap of other news to share with you!

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Kick Buds by Konami is in soft launch in France: in this party game, move, jump and shoot your way to survival in different game modes based around the round ball, on Play Store and App Store.
  • Gnosia is out: this single-player narrative game with a time loop is available on Play Store and App Store, and sends you off to unmask the Gnosia, nasty creatures posing as humans on your spaceship.
  • Star Savior is available on Play Store and App Store: in this gacha RPG, you play the captain of the Nebula Observation Agency, responsible for organising the Saviors' actions.
  • Urban Myth Dissolution Center is out on mobile: the episodic investigation game puts you in the shoes of Azami Fukurai, the heroine of a paranormal and psychedelic pixel art adventure, on Play Store and App Store.

Then there's Baseball Hits 26 , out on Play Store and App Store. The idle RPG Fantamon is out in the US on Play Store and App Store.

We end this section with the free Epic Games Store game of the week, Potion Permit.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and testing phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark on Android and iOS this week.

  • Gothic Classic announced for iOS: Piranha Bytes' cult RPG, released in 2003, will be coming to iOS this year in its original version.
  • Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy has a release date: the 3v3 combat game featuring the franchise's heroes arrives between 23 and 24 March on Play Store and App Store.
  • Dragon Quest Smash/Grow opens pre-registration on Play Store and App Store: pre-register now to be among the first players to choose from a range of roguelite finisher attacks and slaughter hordes of monsters.
  • Prism 2033 announced for mobile: the MMO presents itself with a Unreal trailer and AI at every turn, mainly for the NPCs who have 5 senses to detect you and interact with the world of Flux City.

We continue with FIFA Heroes, which is entering regional early access on Play Store. Meanwhile, the port of Wednesdays, which deals with child abuse, will be released on Play Store and App Store on 25 March. Shangri-La Frontier The Seven Colossi will be released in Japan in 2026.

Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, the sequel to Vampire Survivors, will be out on Android and iOS on 21 April. Easy Delivery Co. arrives on Play Store and App Store on 26 March. Off the Road 2 also arrives in spring, 2026 on Play Store and App Store. The same goes for the strange port of Nubby's Number Factory, which arrives on mobile on 15 April 2026.

We end this section with the games coming to Apple Arcade in April: Dredge+, Unpacking+ and My Very Hungry Caterpillar+.
