Marmalade is not new to the game. Already behind Monopoly or The Game of Life on mobile, the studio adds a new title to its board games catalogue on Android and iOS. Taboo mobile is coming to smartphones as a party game with a built-in video chat feature to play together online.
Cluedo, Monopoly, Taboo, for the most classic ones, but also Catan or Wingspan, board games are legion on the video game support. Let's go back to the principle of Taboo for those who would discover the game. It is a competitive team game for up to 6 players. The aim is to make your partner guess words within a given time. To do this, you draw a card with the word to be guessed but also "taboo" words that you are not allowed to say in your explanation. For example, to make your partner guess lasagne, you cannot say: pasta, layer, sauce, cheese and cooked. So you have to be creative in describing the final word and avoid any slip-ups!

The advantage of the Taboo application over other online versions of similar games is that it hasa built-in video chat function. This means that you don't have to use an additional application to play and communicate with your friends. video chat was recently introduced to Monopoly.
Now let's move on to the game's lifespan. In addition to the initial guessing card pack, you can get expansion packs on themes like animals, food or sports, for example. And, if you're feeling gamey, the mystery pack is still a good random option. Note that Taboo is currently available for pre-order on Android and iOS.

As you can see from this Taboo screenshot, Marmalade makes the game available both locally and remotely! And for fans of online board games of all kinds, Board Game Arena remains your best option. So you don't have to reach for your wallet every time.
