Harry Potter: Magic Awakened caused quite a stir when it was first announced and later when it was due to be released in Asia in 2021. Since then, Warner Bros. NetEase are promising a worldwide release "during 2022" for the title in order to bring the magic of Hogwarts version 2.0 to the rest of the world on mobile. Discover the gameplay of the title while waiting for the release of Harry Potter: Awakened.
Potterheads who love potions, quidditch and wizarding duels, you won't be disappointed. Codenamed HPMA, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened takes you to the heart of the tense moments of your life at Hogwarts, the duels. You'll be able to fight other players in PvP, or battle hideous creatures in PvE, as we know there are many around the school, all via a mobile card game system.

You will build your deck according to your playstyle and learn to climb the ladder of the Duel Club. These duels can take the form of 1v1 but also 2v2, with your characters on the board, in a TFT/gacha style. I can't wait to see if the strategic dimension of the gameplay really goes beyond fan service and extends the universe intelligently.
You'll also be taking more classes and exploring the nooks and crannies of Hogwarts as you go through the school. To practice your spells, you can already practice at Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery.
While the game revolves around a deck-building base like many others TCG, it also features other elements emblematic of student life at Hogwarts. Among them, the game of Quidditch in cooperative mode is obviously king. The simulation is limited to practice matches but we all know that students do not take these confrontations lightly...

Outside of matches, you can also practice creating potions that will serve as boosts or anti-boosts to your deck and even take classes in defending yourself against evil forces. The title has a complete plot and cartoon graphics that are fairly classic but very well integrated into the HP universe.
For more information on the Portkey Games title, I'll refer you to the official game website where you can pre-register for Harry Potter: Magic Awakened on Android. iOS players will still have to wait. However, we will let you know the exact release date of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened as soon as it is announced!
While you're waiting to prove yourself as an experienced wizard, why not cast some spells Harry Potter on your iPhone?
