Fortnite X Dragon Ball: all the event informations

Until August 30, 2022, the iconic characters from Akira Toriyama's manga are inviting themselves into Epic Games' Battle Royale with the Fortnite x Dragon Ball event. Let's discover all the details of this event. On the agenda: quests, duels and many skins and accessories to unlock.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball: Power Unleashed!

First of all, as you might expect, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration adds many cosmetic items to the item store. Among these are skins of four Dragon Ball Super characters - Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus. Purchasing Goku's and Vegeta's skins also unlocks their alternate styles of Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct, as well as the Charging Up emote, which can only be used with the character in question.

However, you can purchase the Universal Charging Up emote to apply to other skins, since it is part of the list of Dragon Ball items added to the Fortnite store :

• Back blings: Power Pole, The Seer Fish, Kamesennin's Shell;
• Pickaxes: Power Pole, Kamesennin's Staff;
• Gliders: Nimbus Cloud, Space Pod;
• Emotes: Charging Up, Fusion! Hah!!!, Boosting Ki.

Next, you may notice that a new tab is available from the menu to access the Power Unleashed! event. Complete quests to increase your power level and win Dragon Balls.

In total, seven quests sets will be available. Each one allows you to earn its own set of rewards and once you have all seven Dragon Balls, you unlock the Shenron Glider. However, hurry up as you only have until August 30 to complete them. However, the rewards of the event can be obtained later in the store if you have not been able to unlock them in time.

Fortnite Island changes

For the duration of the Fortnite x Dragon Ball event, the contract boards are replaced by the duel boards, which can be accessed at several locations on the island. By interacting with a board, an opponent is designated to you. His position is then shown on your map, but he also knows your position. From that moment on, you have five minutes to defeat him.

During the game, collect Capsule Corp deliveries to obtain a Kamehamaha to eliminate your enemies or a Jindujun to make your travel easier. Not far from the main island is a small island where Kame House is located. Talk to Bulma to buy additional items.

In addition to all these new features, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball event allows players to watch the adventures of their heroes with the broadcast of Dragon Ball Super episodes until September 17, 2022. Among the selection are episodes 9, 10, 11, 13, 81 and 98.
