Want to let off steam with some zombies with your friends? Then this news should please you. While waiting for the worldwide release of Dead 4 Returns, you can already register to the closed beta. Let's see how you can participate and try to download Dead 4 Returns right now.
Dead 4 Returns is a third-person shooter in which you must survive in a post-apocalyptic world populated by the undead. Based on multiplayer, and in particular on 4-player cooperation, it is strongly inspired by Back 4 Blood, the sequel to the cult game Left 4 Dead.
Take control of Ryan, Olivia, Sonya and Kyle to survive hordes of rampaging zombies in Dead 4 Returns. Each of the characters has specific skills. For example, Ryan is a very fast character while Kyle will have to rely more on his stealth.
We recently announced that Dead 4 Returns was available for pre-registration on TapTap, as well as a first phase of test on an Asian server. Following this alpha, we were able to see new gameplay images.
The result is quite promising under Unreal Engine 4. Graphically, it's more than adequate for a mobile game and the behaviour of the zombies looks more realistic (if you can use that term for zombies) than in many console and PC games.
In this Dead 4 Returns gameplay trailer, the action phases seem fluid despite the number of enemies present in the area. However, it may be necessary to lower the video settings slightly for less powerful devices. We'll have to wait until we get our hands on the title to check the game's handling.
Due to problems encountered during development, the studio has decided to focus on cooperative PVE modes and to put aside the Dead 4 Returns PVP ranked games for the time being.
A new closed beta phase has just opened and allows some users to register on TapTap to download Dead 4 Returns. The test phase runs from 19 April to 6 May 2022.
To do this, fill in the Dead 4 Returns registration form with your smartphone model, processor and available storage space. You also need to enter your age, country, the types of games you play and your TapTap ID. If you don't know where to find it, go to your profile. The player ID is displayed just below your username.
So don't wait any longer and try to participate in the Dead 4 Returns beta. On our side, the registration is already completed. By the way, we will inform you if we manage to test the game to give you our first impressions. In the meantime, keep an eye on our news section to make sure you don't miss out on any mobile game news.
