This weekend took place the Ubisoft Forward, during which the French publisher unveiled many announcements about its upcoming games, starting with Assassin's Creed on mobile. Let's go over what we learned about this game and other mobile titles from Ubisoft, like The Division Resurgence or Rainbow Six Mobile.
The most important announcement of this Ubisoft Forward concerning mobile games is undoubtedly the arrival of the Assassin's Creed franchise on mobile, which coincides with the 15th anniversary of the franchise. Named Assassin's Creed Jade, this opus will be set in ancient China in 215 BC, during the Qin Dynasty, the first imperial dynasty in Chinese history.
The announcement trailer, made with images of the game engine, does not reveal any gameplay phases, but allows us to discover the environment we will explore in the open world of Assassin's Creed Jade on Mobile.

We also know that the title will be free-to-play, with the ambition to take the gameplay of the main titles of the license, while adapting it to touch controls. No release date for the moment, we'll have to be content with the indication: soon on mobile.
In addition to the announcement of Assassin's Creed Jade on mobile, other Ubisoft licenses are planned for Android and iOS. The Division Resurgence, whose beta begins this fall, has revealed images of the Dark Zone, where players will compete in PvEvP to collect rewards. To register for the beta, visit the game's official website.
On its side, Rainbow Six Mobile offers a date for the launch of its new beta phase : September 12, 2022. Unfortunately for Europeans, it will only be accessible from the following countries: United States, Brazil, Canada, Philippines, Mexico, Singapore and India.
Ubisoft also announced a partnership with Netflix, which will begin with three games. First, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, scheduled for release in January 2023, will be a Netflix Games exclusive. Next, we will be treated to The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot sometime in 2023. Finally, the third game will be an Assassin's Creed Mobile, but we don't know if it will be Assassin's Creed Jade or a completely different game.
That's it for the announcement of an Assassin's Creed game on mobile and the other Ubisoft Forward announcements. If you'd like to watch the full replay, it's available on Ubisoft's YouTube channel.
