Are you looking for a gaming tablet but don't know which one to choose? Let us help! As you know, our speciality is to offer you the best possible mobile gaming experience . Your smartphone screen is small for your taste, and we understand. Many mobile gamers naturally turn to tablets for greater gaming comfort. However, as you're going to be using them for very specific purposes, you need to be careful not to rush into buying just any model. So, without further ado, here's our 2024 selection of the best gaming tablets to buy. Follow this buying guide ⤵️
It's important to take a close look at a number of components before buying a gaming tablet. The aim of your new toy will be to run resource-hungry games as well as possible. Another important criterion is that you should be comfortable playing games, as you'll be spending a lot of time in front of your screen!
The perfect size? Whatever suits you best, of course (thanks for the great tip😅). But let's be realistic: investing in a gaming tablet and ending up with a screen barely bigger than your smartphone's, which is usually 6.5 inches, doesn't make much sense. What's more, if you're a fan of MOBA or FPS-type games, choose a screen size that's neither too small to avoid constantly squinting, nor too large to prevent muscle fatigue after long sessions. Ideally, you should opt for a screen of at least 10 or even 11 inches, which will allow you to be super-responsive on the keys. On the other hand, for those who want to play with a joystick, you might as well treat yourself to a generous 13/14-inch screen.
The screen is very important, but what you shouldn't forget to look at is the refresh rate. The higher the refresh rate, the better. What does it do? It provides greater fluidity and allows you to be responsive in FPS games in particular. The ultimate is to aim for 120 Hz or 144 Hz screens. As for the display, it should be at least 1920x1080 pixels to expect good definition. This allows more elements to be displayed on screen, while improving brightness and accentuating contrasts.
Good to know: if the screen size of tablets still isn't enough for you, you can play mobile games on a PC and use your computer screen without any problem👌
As with a PC or smartphone, RAM allows you to temporarily store essential data, speeding up the loading of your favourite games. For resource-hungry games, make sure you have at least 8 GB of RAM. That's the minimum required to run a game without too many hitches. And if you want to play without fear of lags and other unpleasant jerks? Opt for 12 GB RAM or more, so you can enjoy your favourite titles in complete peace of mind.
Your tablet needs more resources to play games than it does to check your emails or watch Netflix. The latest iPads have really high-performance configurations, so you can play all games without restriction (we'll talk about this below). Android tablets come in all shapes and sizes, so be careful before you buy your gaming tablet. The first thing to look at is the processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon or Exynos for Samsung (the best is obviously the 8 gen 2).
Storage space is just as important. Many demanding games take up a lot of space on your gaming tablet, which can quickly lead to you running out of storage. That's why if you opt for a minimum of 128 GB, you'll be able to keep several games as well as films and music. And if you want more comfort, 256 GB should be enough to store all your content.
A number of accessories can be paired with your tablet to enhance your gaming experience. With Bluetooth, you can get wireless headphones for a much more immersive and cool sound experience than with the sound of your tablet.
Logically, a wireless controller will be ideal for super-smooth gaming (Xbox and Playstation 5 controllers are Bluetooth compatible). Finally, even though tablets have their own storage capacity, an SD memory card will be very useful for storing (almost) unlimited numbers of games.

Best prices
Compact and powerful, the Samsung Tab S7 combines all the elements for a totally successful gaming experience! It features a powerful Snapdragon 865+ coupled with 6 or 8 RAM and an incredible 11-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It goes without saying that you won't experience any slowdowns during your games. But all this comes at the price of a little heat, which is still perfectly acceptable. This is literally a model you should invest in!
XIAOMI Pad 6
Best prices
If you don't have the budget to invest in a top-of-the-range gaming tablet, but you're still looking for a competitive Android tablet, then the Xiaomi Pad 6 is for you! Its beautiful 11-inch screen combined with Eye Care Display technology means you won't even feel the fatigue during long, frenzied games. Its Snapdragon 870 processor, flanked by 6 GB of RAM with a 144 Hz refresh rate, means you can play games like Genshin Impact as well as less demanding titles like Cookie Run Kingdom. DOOGEE T20 Ultra
Best prices
Doogee's T20 Ultra tablet is the ideal mid-range alternative for those looking for a low-budget device. Thanks to its 32GB of RAM, it offers a fairly fluid experience on most games, even those requiring a few resources. At JeuMobi, we've tested Wild Rift on the T20 Ultra, and we're very happy with it. So it's safe to assume that the vast majority of mobile games will run smoothly on this model. We also like the size of the screen and its very thin frame, as well as its light weight, which makes it very comfortable to hold.
Xiaomi Redmi Pad
Best prices
Xiaomi's Redmi Pad is one of the cheapest and least powerful gaming tablets, but it's still the most affordable in our ranking. Its 10.61-inch LCD screen (which is just the right size) and refresh rate of up to 90 Hz make for smooth operation and good graphics. As for MediaTek's Helio G99 chip , it's just about good enough to relax with mainstream games, but not good enough to run resource-hungry titles. One of its strong points is its 8,000 mAh battery life, which means you can play for 12 hours without interruption!
DOOGEE T20 Mini
Best prices
To round off this ranking, we offer you an alternative to the classic tablet format: the T20 mini tablet from Doogee. At just 8.4 inches, it's the ideal solution if you're looking for a lightweight, easily transportable device that won't take up space in your luggage. In terms of performance, it has little to envy other entry-level models. We also tested it with Wild Rift, and didn't encounter any problems. However, when it comes to battery life, you can't expect hours of non-stop gaming due to the small battery capacity. Nonetheless, this mini-tablet is an excellent choice for those on a budget.

I don't know how long ago it was, but I have the tab S6 and on fortnite it's a real pain in the ass, better than on switch, but for a few seasons now I've gone from high quality and constant 60fps to low quality, 75% graphics resolution and between 60 and 40fps. Horrible for stream! I'm not sure if it's a good game or not, but I'm sure it's a good game, and I'm not sure if it's a good game or not. I hope my comment will be useful.
I'm planning to buy a PC for cross-platform games
Thanks for your feedback and suggestions 🙂 It's true that the S6 is getting a bit old but is still viable for most games! It's a good compromise in terms of price but I use the S7 which is better in terms of performance 😉
