Before we start TFT set 8 Augments tier list, let's quickly go over the changes in their functioning compared to the previous set. Already, if you haven't checked it out yet, I suggest you read our TFT Set 8 traits guide to understand more clearly how to build your strategy around the optimizations.
The first important piece of information is simply that TFT Augments are kept as a permanent part of the TFT gameplay. Nevertheless, the operation of the latter will have its own peculiarities in each season, starting with the Augments heroic in this set.
The main TFT Set 8 Augments change is the addition of heroic augments. Each champion has several custom Augments , which can give him a personal upgrade or a bonus to his teammates.
However, the classic TFT Augments are retained in Set 8, as are the traits optimizations which allow more freedom in your choice of composition and object build. For more information on how the optimizations work in general, I refer you to our TFT set 7 Augments tier list.
Warning: The names of some TFT set 8 Augments of this tier list are not definitive, because the official translation is not yet available. The article will be corrected as soon as the information will be communicated by the editor.
Update: Mortdog (the best source of official information on the TFT meta of this set 8) has just posted the odds of getting all types of augments in a tweet about patch 12.23.
Let's start our TFT set 8 Augments tier list with the first level of optimizations. As you will see, we have divided them into categories: heroic, classic and trait optimizations. The first tier is the one with the most optimizations. The Augments heroic optimizations below are for cost 1 and 2 champions.
