Sea of Conquest is a relatively popular game that is regularly updated with new content. Fishing in Sea of Conquest used to be possible, but in a rather basic way. Sea of Conquest fishing : how does it work?

In Sea of Conquest, you have the chance to discover a brand new feature of the game: fishing. You can think of it as an interesting side activity that will keep you on your toes for a while. Wondering how to play Sea of Conquest fishing? Well, it's pretty straightforward!

To launch this activity, simply click on the fish-shaped icon at the bottom of your screen, just to the left of the 'artefact' icon. This will take you to the fishing screen. Here you'll find various options such as the fishing shop, upgrading your fishing equipment, quests and the fish cards you've unlocked.

At the bottom right of the screen is a big yellow button. Click it to start a fishing trip in Sea of Conquest. Fishing isn't complicated. The aim is to cast your bait into the water andinflict damage on the fish that has taken the bait. All the actions are performed using the yellow button, which must be held down or released according to a certain timing.

Sea of Conquest fishing: what rewards are available?

Fishing equipment in SoC

To be able to fish, you'll need fishing tackle, i.e. rods and bait. You can get tackle from the fishing shop, by spending real money or by completing quests. This equipment needs to be upgraded to inflict more damage on fish and catch bigger fish.

The fish

During your fishing sessions in Sea of Conquest, you will, of course, catch fish. These are stored in a fish basket. Each new species you unlock entitles you to gems. There are around ten different species in each sea, so try to catch them all.

Fish cards

Completing certain quests will unlock fish cards, but you can also obtain them in the fishing shop or for real money. These cards can be upgraded, so you can inflict more damage on the fish.

Sea of Conquest fishing guide: additional tips

Don't neglect Sea of Conquest fishing, as the fish you catch will be used to prepare recipes in SoC. Several recipes call for fish, including divine fish soup, rare grilled fish, exquisite slices of fish, delicious fried fish tacos and regular fried fish tacos.

You can also activate automatic fishing. This is a handy feature, as you choose the number of baits you want to use and simply harvest the fish without having to do anything. On the other hand, the chances of getting legendary fish with automatic fishing seem extremely low.
