AFK Arena: How to install the server test ?

Like many games in this genre, AFK Arena is regularly updated to fix bugs or simply add content. To ensure that these updates are implemented in the best possible way, Lilith Games uses a server test.

In this guide, we will teach you how to install this server test. Whether you play on PC or Android, it is possible to play via this server in order to test new updates before anyone else.

The so-called " test " server of AFK Arena presented in this guide is not actually a server. Rather, it is a server serving a small Asian region that Lilith Games uses as a server test.

Install the server test on a PC

As we regularly present to you, playing AFK Arena on a PC is for us the most optimal way to enjoy the game. We will start with the procedure to follow if you are planning to install the test server for AFK Arena on your PC.

Download APK file

Your first step will be to download the APK file (file format for the Android operating system, therefore usable via BlueStacks) of the server in question.
Several sites will propose you to download it, we advise you to go to the APKPure site because it is in French and is updated regularly.

On the website, search for AFK Arena and click on the second link (the one with the red eye that will come out second - see image below).

By clicking on this link, you will be redirected to a download page where you can choose which version to install. Then click on the version button.

Once you have done this, the site will offer you several versions of the game to download. Choose to download the most recent one (refer to the date, although the most recent version will usually be the first one in the list).

Install the APK file on an emulator

Once you have downloaded the APK file, you will need to install an Android emulator. We advise you to use the BlueStacks emulator which is the most secure and the most powerful currently.Download BlueStacks for free

Once installed, simply drag the APK file to your BlueStacks library to start the installation.

BlueStacks will then take a few moments to install the server test. When it is installed, a notification will confirm it and you will have access to a "new" AFK Arena in your list of games (with the same red eye as on the website).

From then on, you will be able to launch the game via the server used as test by Lilith Games.

Install the test server on mobile

As AFK Arena is a mobile game, it is of course also possible to install the test server on your mobile (provided you are using Android and not iOS).

Install the test server on Android

The procedure is very similar to the installation of the test server on a PC. First, you will need to download the corresponding APK file. You will find it on the APKPure website. After downloading it, select it and install it.

Your Android system may warn you that " for your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown applications from this source ".
All you have to do is go to your phone's settings to authorise its installation (settings / security / check the " unknown sources " option).

Following this modification, the installation of the test server of AFK Arena can begin.

By then, your phone will have installed a second version of AFK Arena. Like the PC installation, it will be recognisable among your games by its red eye icon.

You will then be able to launch AFK Arena in its server test on your Android device.

Install the test server on iOS

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there is no way to install the AFK Arena test server on iOS. If you play AFK Arena via an Apple device, we recommend that you install the game on PC if you want to enjoy the benefits of the test server.

The particularities of the server test

As previously explained, launching AFK Arena via its server test will allow you to test the new features of the game some time before the official release (usually around two weeks).

Indeed, if you compare the emails received in your "normal" part with those from the server test, you will notice that the server test has a patch news that does not exist in the other version.
If the information is real, do not rely on the dates that will be incorrect (or at least just correct for the server test).

Furthermore, you will notice that the number of different servers contained in this version test has nothing to do with a "normal" version. If you take a look at the available servers, you can see the " test " side of the server.
