Wild Rift: discover the gameplay of the champions in video

Wild Rift gameplay champions

Like a prisoner of war impatiently waiting for his release, we are counting the days until the official release of Wild Rift in Europe. And we must say that time is passing horribly slowly! While the mobile version of the popular MOBA League of Legends is already available in some Asian countries, Riot Games is trying to make the wait less unpleasant. On the Wild Rift YouTube channel, champions and their gameplay are revealed every day. It's better than nothing, but it's also a pain... because your mouth is really watering!

Seraphine, Ahri, Evelynn, Kai'Sa... All the champions should be there. Before going into details, it should be noted that the idea is good and that the videos are dynamic and condensed. It's not a detailed and heavy tutorial, but really an overview of the gameplay of Wild Rift champions that lasts less than two minutes. Riot Games, GG WP!

Learn to play champions before the release of Wild Rift

As League of Legends players know, the MOBA is particularly demanding in terms of mechanics. Champions like Lee Sin, Riven or Zoe require precise sequences.
Wild Rift is a different game and as it is on mobile, several aspects have been adapted. However, Riot Games should retain the overall identity of the champions. Akali is the latest champion to be featured on the Wild Rift YouTube channel. The mobile version of Wild Rift looks very similar to the PC version. Ionia's assassin looks as mobile as ever, with dashes in all directions.

There are, however, several changes to gameplay on some champions, which will require practice for those used to the classic game. Some of the changes are obvious. For example, Ashe will be able to redirect his ultimate skill to always find his target. Others are much more subtle, but important. Annie's disintegration will no longer be single-target but will affect several enemies.

Still awaiting European release

As a reminder, Wild Rift will be available on iOS and Android. Europe is part of the second wave and we'll have to wait a good month before we can play our favourite champions on mobile. A month is a long time, but it will give you time to familiarise yourself with the various gameplay changes.

Finally, for the big tryharders, you should know that ranked games will be available from the release of the game. There will be no strings attached, so you will be able to take full advantage of Ranked. There will also be some changes. So, we advise you to read our dedicated guide before jumping into the jungle!
