LoL: Wild Rift to be released in Europe in December

Wild Rift release in Europe

Are you a League of Legends fan? Then you should be aware that the mobile version of the game will be released soon. It is currently in a regional closed beta at test . This leaves all Europeans out in the cold for the time being. But the frustration should end soon. Riot Games has announced that Wild Rift will be released in Europe in December! While we'll have to wait a few more weeks to play the real League of Legends on mobile (and not a copy like Mobile Legends), at least the community knows where it's going.

For those of you in Europe who want to be on top of your game when League of Legends: Wild Rift is released, we suggest you take a look at our Ranked guide. Ranked games will be available as soon as the game is released. This is your chance to quickly climb the soloQ ladder and become one of the top ranked players.

Wild Rift in Europe: a second wave release

Michael Chow, known to gamers as Riot Paladin, spoke in the developer video diary. In it, he detailed the plan of action for League of Legends: Wild Rift and several release dates... Indeed, different zones and countries will be able to play the game earlier than others!

  • 27 October: The game will be fully available in an open beta in selected countries. South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand are the lucky ones.
  • 1st week of December : the game will launch in Europe (Yay!), Taiwan, Oceania and Vietnam.
  • Spring 2021: North and South America.

For Europe and the Americas, dates are not yet fully set. Riot Paladin has warned that delays are still possible, if not likely. It is not known if using a powerful VPN could help you play the game early, but it is not recommended. The game servers in Europe will not be brought online and even if you manage to fool Riot Games, the ping will not be at all optimal.

From rewards to the most loyal players

Perhaps Riot Games has anticipated the early grumblers who can't wait. The company has announced that the most loyal players will receive exclusiverewards , including skins and other in-game cosmetics.

Players who already have an account at Riot Games (League of Legends) will receive rewards to unlock on Wild Rift based on their past investment in League of Legends. For those who play mainly at Valorant, there are no plans yet!
