Top mobile games for September 2024

Don't know what to try out on your phone - on the move, at home or even in the toilet? Every second spent gaming has to be worthwhile, so the Mobi.gg editorial team has put together a selection of the best mobile games for September 2024. These high-quality free and premium titles were released in August, but they're sure to complete your collection and are available now on Android or iOS.

Our favourite mobile games of the month

This month we've fallen for two great new releases. Make some room on your storage space, because these mobile games are going to be hard to resist.

The Dragon Prince: Xadia

For September 2024, we strongly recommend you try The Prince of Dragon: Xadia, which has repaired its graphical problems on compatible Android devices since its release. When The Last Airbender meets classic but original heroic fantasy, you get this. Available directly as part of your Netflix Games subscription, the game capitalises on a strong licence that already has several seasons under its belt.

Discover or rediscover the magical world of Xadia, the dark magic of humans, the exotic species of this dragon world and the series' iconic characters. The story, which complements that of the Netflix series , is well-crafted, the lore is clearly there and there's enough room for theories to make the whole thing really complete.

The Dragon Prince: Xadia is an RPG that embraces all the mechanics of the genre: quests, loot, dungeons, crafting, boss battles... Add to that a bit of hack'n'slash, exploration and the ability to play with friends, and you've got a really good game.

Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home

It's the bucolic adventure of Haverst Moon: Home Sweet Home that caught our attention this month (well, mostly mine, as I have a soft spot for life sims...). You set off from the city to return to Alba, the little village in the fields where you grew up.

The formula of this new opus remains the same, because why change a winning team? Gather resources, meet the villagers and transform the village into a thriving little haven. Start from scratch and develop your business. Fish, garden and improve your production in a pretty setting with a warm atmosphere.

In Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, you'll be reunited with the best-known characters from the licence, meet new NPCs to woo and attract ever more tourists and locals. There's no Tom Nook in sight in this pioneering cozy life sim, which is now making a name for itself on the phone.

The game's classic features are back in service in a portable version on Android and iOS, priced at $17,99 on the stores.
