Top mobile games for November 2024

Don't know what to try out on your phone - on the move, at home or even in the toilet? Every second of gaming must be worthwhile, so the Mobi.gg editorial team has put together a selection of the best mobile games for November 2024. These quality free and premium titles were released in August, but they're sure to complete your collection and are available now on Android or iOS.

Our favourite mobile games of the month

This month we've fallen for two great new releases. Make room on your storage space because these mobile games are going to be hard to resist.

Grimguard Tactics

Let's start our top ten in the world of Terenos with the release of Grimguard Tactics! This long-awaited turn-based strategy game, which perfectly blends a dark fantasy universe with tactical combat, is set to hit our phones in November.

Collect epic heroes with interesting synergies to explore all the strategic possibilities of the game board in PvE and PvP. Explore a fantastic world with your squad, take part in boss battles and pit yourself against other players to dominate these fantastic lands.

The atmosphere is great, and the graphics are just as good as the game itself, which is easy to play on Android and iOS. Test Grimguard Tactics free-to-play and tell us what you think in the comments.

Clank!

Next up is the porting of the excellent Clank! to mobile! Yaya loves this game and takes advantage of every board game convention to take on the randoms, so now she's going to tryhard on her phone!

For the uninitiated, Clank! is a deckbuilding game in which each player takes on the role of a thief competing with the others to steal as much wealth as possible from underground dungeons.

But these galleries are guarded deep down by a dragon who is a light sleeper. And every noise you make, every Clank! could wake him up, and he'd rather burn you alive than lose a bit of gold.

You improve with each turn, by going faster, further, richer, killing more enemies, but be careful not to get too greedy, as that could well be your undoing. The board changes, the strategies are infinite and the end can turn into a giant mechoui. It's a bit of a clever atmosphere before it ends in treachery like Munchkin, every man for himself. Clank! is available for $10 on Android and iOS.

Before I tell you about the other games of the month, I wanted to remind you that we've got a page bringing together the very latest mobile games for those who like to be ahead of the trends.

November's must-try mobile games

With dozens of releases a day on the various game shops, it's hard to keep track. So we've gone through it all for you, and here are the best releases of the past month to try out over the next 30 days:

  • In The Get Out Kids, two friends from the 80s go on an adventure to find their lost dog in 3D dioramas with a world reminiscent of Stranger Things. This free immersive puzzle game combines a retro atmosphere with well thought-out mini-games and mechanics on the App Store.
  • Children of Morta plunges you into a pixel-art world where you take on the role of members of the Bergson family as they battle through procedurally-generated dungeons. This hack'n slash game combines emotional storytelling and addictive gameplay on Play Store and App Store.
  • Miraibo GO, inspired by Palworld, offers a world of survival and creature collection in which the Mira, with their varied skills, can help in combat or basic management. Create alliances in a vast free-to-play multiplayer world on Play Store and App Store.
  • With Pokémon TCG Pocket, Pokémon card fans can finally collect and build decks with their favourite creatures on Play Store and App Store. In addition to a casual battle mode, this compact and aesthetically pleasing game should offer card swapping in future updates to enrich the experience.
  • Monument Valley 2 arrives via Netflix Games on Play Store and App Store, with puzzles based on the manipulation of light and a touching narrative about a mother-daughter relationship. This enchanting game, which explores levels of impossible geometry, offers a unique visual experience.
  • Touchgrind X is a mountain biking game where players can customise their bikes, perform tricks and compete against other players in extreme races. With Battle Royale and solo modes, this sports title on Play Store and App Store offers an immersive and competitive experience.
  • Lord of Nazarick lets fans play as characters from the Overlord series in a gacha RPG featuring dungeon exploration, boss battles and PvP. Crunchyroll is offering an extension of its universe here, creating an experience faithful to the atmosphere of the anime on Play Store and App Store.
  • Wizardry Variants Daphne on Play Store and App Store is a first-person gacha RPG set in a mysterious dungeon inhabited by menacing creatures. Its dark atmosphere and strategic gameplay will appeal to those nostalgic for games from the PS2 era.
  • Frostpunk Beyond the Ice invites you to manage a city in the middle of the Arctic, where every decision affects the survival of its inhabitants. With a steampunk universe and player co-op mechanics, this adaptation on Play Store and App Store retains the oppressive, strategic atmosphere of the original game.
  • CARRION offers a horrific experience in which players take on the role of a monstrous creature seeking to spread terror throughout a scientific complex. Using pixel art, this game focuses on the devastation and destructive powers of the creature, on Play Store and App Store.
  • Age of Empires Mobile captures the essence of MMORTS, with historical civilisations, resources to manage and heroes to recruit. This competitive game inspired by Rise of Kingdoms is designed for strategy fans ready to get involved in battles to dominate the world in free-to-play on Play Store and App Store.
