It's a big day for fans of retro RPGs, with the release of Sea of Stars on mobile! Sabotage Studio's game, brought to Android and iOS by Playdigious, is available now for under $9. And that's a small price to pay to enjoy a sublime title that will remind you of the masterpieces of the 1990s.
For those who missed it, Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the likes of Chrono Trigger and Mario RPG, which arrived on PC in 2023. For the release of Sea of Stars on mobile, you can look forward to magnificent, modernised pixel art and dozens of hours of content.
Playdigious is in charge of the Sea of Stars port. And the least we can say is that the French studio has already proved itself! After Children of Morta, Potion Permit and Little Nightmares (among others), Playdigious is now tackling Sea of Stars.

You'll enjoy a reworked interface with a UI and controls designed entirely for mobile devices. Prefer to play with a controller? Good news, the game is compatible! In fact, we've put together a list of the best controllers for mobile phones at Mobi.gg.
As you'll have gathered, Sabotage Studio's game is an RPG that borrows its gameplay mechanics from the legends of the genre. On the programme for the release of Sea of Stars on mobile:
