Release of Dicero: the successor to Archero has just hit the stores!

Dicero out

Studio Habby is back today with the release of Dicero on Android and iOS! The successor to Archero and Archero 2 offers us a roguelite survivor with a brand new mechanic that refreshes the genre: dice rolls. The Mobi.gg editorial team has tested Dicero, and here's what it has in store for you!

Original gameplay for the release of Dicero

If you've had enough of roguelite survivors, then maybe Dicero will change your mind! The game uses some of the same mechanics as Habby's previous games (random skill selection, waves of enemies, chapter progression). But for the release of Dicero, you'll be discovering the mechanics of dice rolls, which will determine the amount of damage you do.

The principle is simple: with your 3 dice re-rolls, you have to create combos (pairs, triples, etc.) to increase the value of your damage.

As you progress, you'll unlock passive or active skills, as well as modifiers to assign to each of your dice. These modifiers can increase your damage or generate additional attacks. We've put together a Dicero beginner's guide for you, so don't hesitate to take a look at it if you want to get started!

With the release of Dicero, you'll be able to try out different builds (for example, the Greatsword build) and create super-powerful synergies to roll over enemies.

Mobi.gg's verdict: Should you fall for Dicero?

After a few hours of play, we'd highly recommend taking advantage of Dicero's release to try out its refreshing and slightly addictive gameplay.

  • Strengths: an original and effective gameplay mechanic / a wealth of content / a successful pixel art DA
  • Weaknesses : the hard try to obtain the rarest resources (unless you pay)
  • Quick verdict: the release of Dicero is a breath of fresh air for roguelite survivors.

As you can see, our opinion of Dicero is really positive , and we can't recommend it highly enough! Go and try it out, it's free on Android and iOS.
