It's the surprise of the day: Habby, the developers of Achero and Archero 2, have just announced a new title! It's called Dicero, and if you get the pun, it's a dice-based game. Habby doesn't change a winning team and is preparing another roguelite that we hope will be as successful as its predecessors. Here's an update on the announcement of Dicero on Android and iOS!
Announcement of Dicero on Android and iOS: a dice-rolling roguelite survivor
When you take a look at Dicero's iOS page, you quickly realise that Habby has kept most of the mechanics that made Archero 1 and 2 such a success. Namely, the roguelite survivor aspect, with waves of enemies to fight and random skills to choose from, unlocked by gaining XP.
But there are several differences with the studio's previous games:
The use of dice rolls: this is a brand new mechanic for the announcement of Dicero on Android and iOS! Dice are used to roll your skills.
Third-person view: no more top-down views!
Pixel-art AD : say goodbye to cartoon graphics, as Dicero plunges you into a beautifully crafted pixel universe.
As with his previous games, Habby has plenty of equipment and skills to unlock.
Dicero scheduled for release in April on Android and iOS?
According to the Dicero iOS page, the game is scheduled for release on mobile in April. So it's coming very soon, and personally, I'm really excited about this announcement!
Of course, we'll keep you posted as soon as Dicero is available on Android and iOS.
