While the first two games in the Professor Layton saga have already been released on mobile, it is now the third opus that is coming to your phones. Developed by Level 5 and managed by the Japanese giant Nintendo, this puzzle game reaches a large audience. Aimed primarily at portable consoles (Nintendo DS, Nintendo Switch), seeing it land on mobile is completely logical.
Professor Layton and the Lost Destiny: mobile release imminent!
The release of the game is fast approaching, as it is scheduled for July 13. Everyone should be able to access it, as this release concerns both Android and iOS users. To play, the processor required is not overly demanding:
iOS 8.0;
Android OS 4.4 or higher.
The game version will be in HD quality and will hope to do as well as its predecessors. Professor Layton and the Strange Village (2018) and Professor Layton and Pandora's Box (2019) have already been released on mobile and have done quite well. We can add to the lot the 7th and last game of the saga, The Layton Adventure: Katrielle and the Conspiracy of Millionaires, released at the same time on console and mobile. This means that there are still 3 other console-only versions that have not yet made the transition.
The synopsis of the story
In keeping with the game series, you will have to solve a series of riddles to progress in the adventure. This time, the professor begins the story by receiving a letter from his assistant... which dates back to the future! Curious to understand this temporal anomaly, he will have to solve the mystery of a time machine that would have made the Prime Minister disappear.
A competition organised by the development studio
The studio Level 5 has organised a small community competition to reward fans. It won't be a speed run, but something much more artistic. Fans are invited to send in their creation, inspired by the game's universe and their favourite characters and scenes. The winner will receive a special and unique diorama of the professor's office. The top 5 (including the winner) will receive an illustrated card in pure gold. It's open to everyone, so don't hesitate to try your luck!
