Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Enter the Gungeon (Play Store and App Store) and Exit the Gungeon (Play Store and App Store) are coming to mobile for under £10, with an incredible arsenal of weapons, ever-villainous bosses and pixel-art maps.
  • Is This Seat Taken? is out on Play Store and App Store for $10. In several social contexts presented in the form of levels, create matches with pairs of characters and put an end to the loneliness of these little cartoon individuals.
  • Punch TV launches you into team battles developed by Four Fats on Play Store and App Store. Featuring over 55 fighters from the Fatverse and a variety of co-op and PvP modes.
  • Once Human RaidZone arrives on Play Store and App Store This standalone experience will be rather familiar to fans of the original survival game.

Then there's Two Strikes, a 2D fighting game arriving via the Crunchyroll Game Vault on Play Store and App Store. There's also Me and the Professor on a Summer Vacation, a hand-drawn investigation game. The RTS Space Menace 2 is now available on Play Store and App Store for $5.50.

As for Cat Quest 3, it's finally available on the App Store, so give this cute hack'n slash a try, solo or in co-op! And finally, Hidden Folks is the free game of the week on the Epic Games Store.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and testing phases

  • Crossfire: Rainbow, a horrific first-person shooter, has been announced by Tencent's renowned TiMi Studio.
  • Warp Knights has been announced by Moonton, a gacha RPG focusing on tactical assaults planned and resolved in real time, in a post-apo universe with aliens.
  • Golf Star 2 from Com2Us is now open for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store. Take to the green to swing your clubs and hit your best shots in 1v1 PvP matches to climb the world rankings.
  • Jump+ Jumble Rush will soon be arriving in Japan, on Play Store and App Store, this autumn. It's a mobile tower defence game featuring characters from the Shonen Jump+ manga series.

We continue with Dunkadillo, a 2D platformer which will be available on Play Store and App Store from 9 September. Mastra, the next MOBA opens its beta in South-East Asia, on Play Store and App Store. Take up arms on two lanes with heroes of Asian mysticism. Meanwhile, the puzzle game Spooky Express will be released on Play Store and App Store on 21 October.

Epic Conquest X, the anime ARPG, is available in early access on Play Store for 4 to 6 months. Enjoy real-time combat, cinematic scenes and a good dose of light-hearted humour. As for the PvP and PvE strategy game Godforge, it's due for release in 2026. Finally, Hero Reborn: Eternal Pact, the idle MMORPG, is entering soft launch in India, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand, on Play Store and App Store.

  • This week, Gameloft's medieval MMO game March of Empires takes to the stage for 30-minute games between 2 and 4 warlords. Vampire Survivors will also be offering its own board game on Kickstarter this autumn!
