Recap #246: Mobile games news of the week

In this recap #246, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Sit back and relax as we round up all the week's mobile games news! On the agenda: taming creatures in Mongil Star Dive, dominating the skies with Merchant of Skies, slicing fruit like the old days and a whole host of other news to share with you!

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

• Mongil Star Dive is available on stores: it features cute monster collecting, cross-platform, guild missions, adventure, colourful characters, cutscenes and cool 3D graphics.
• Merchant of the Skies is out on Android and iOS: in this totally aerial pixel-art world, take to the skies in your trading airship. Choose which resources to trade and negotiate all your deals to get rich while discovering this flying world.
• Nubby's Number Factory has arrived on mobile: you work in a number factory, where you have to increase your scores to maintain your quota and prevent the sun from exploding.
• DUPER is out on Android and iOS: a tactical game that takes its inspiration from TFT, expansion à la Catania and poker for a fun cocktail. The aim is to win a 5-player free-for-all match, with games lasting between 15 and 30 minutes.

We continue with the release of the RPG Ten Valkyrie. We end this section with Broken Sword Reforged, the free Epic Games game of the week.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark on Android and iOS this week.

• Fantasy Life I should be out this summer on mobile: in this cosy game already available on Switch 2, become a magician, a carpenter, a gardener and an explorer eager to discover new things.
• Weltkrieg 1: Firestorm is starting its Android beta: this is a multiplayer shooter set in the historical atmosphere of the First World War, featuring real-time battles with your squad in 6v6 and 10v10.
• Isekai Gate is in beta on Android: enter a 3-way co-op experience with your little hero to control and tower defence by wave. Chain together chapters and mobs in this free beta.
• Among The Sleep is now open for pre-registration: you're a 2-year-old exploring your environment, with childhood fears lurking in every corner.

We continue this section with Project Racer, which is entering open beta on Android. Meanwhile, Knights - Medieval PvP is now open for pre-registration. We also learn that Dragon Quest Smash/Grow will be released on 21 April. The strategic RPG Genesis War is in soft launch.

Inazuma Eleven Cross will be released in Japan in June, at the same time as Barbie Horse Ride & Rescu on 16 June. Fruit Ninja Adventures is now open for pre-registration. Twin Shot Deluxe will be released on 30 April.
