In this recap #244, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases you won't want to miss.

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on stores:

  • The Division Resurgence is out on stores: discover effective shooting sensations with optimised touch controls and guaranteed controller compatibility. Go on PvP and PvPvE adventures with faction wars.
  • Ice Bot is available on Android and iOS: push blocks that go as far as they can in a straight line. You have to move one element towards another by moving the walls and respecting the springs and other terrain traps.
  • Guild of Monster Girls has arrived on mobile: Chillyroom is rolling out a portrait-format idle RPG with a hundred or so monster girls to collect.
  • Alien Morgue is out on Android and iOS: imagine Papers, Please meets a morgue. Try to recognise each species and follow the protocols to the letter. It's up to you how you get rid of the corpses!

We continue with the release of the FPS Aerial_Knights DropShot Mobile. FairyTale Quest has also hit the stores, with a cute survivor.

We end this section with the free Epic Games Store game of the week, Dumb Ways to Die 2.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • Monster Hunter Outlanders is launching pre-registration for its next beta: you have until 21 April to take up arms. Visit the game's official website to join the beta testers!
  • Petit Planet announces its Stardrift Test: take to the high seas to explore colourful planets and a host of customisable worlds in this cosy RPG that's sure to remind you of Animal Crossing.
  • Clans of London hits stores on 16 April: take on the mechanics of a well-honed fantasy TCG, all in a dark mood based on the world of Vampire: The Masquerade.
  • Ki-Gou Keikaku is in development for PC and mobile: the game is set in an alternative version of the Showa era, with anime-style mecha battles.

Then there's the multiplayer RPG Dragon Blood: Slayers Academy, which is now open for pre-registration on Android and iOS. Jobless Reincarnation: Chronicles of Echoes is now open for pre-registration, as is the combat-oriented RPG Allfiring.

Waltz of the Wizard will be released on iOS on 15 April, and Murder Mystery's Charisma will arrive as a mobile game in Japan in 2026. Meanwhile, the old-school RPG Dragon Ruins is now open for pre-registration.

The Sea of Stars RPG arrives on 7 April. Merchant of the Skies arrives on 14 April, Mongil Star Dive on 15 April and Dicero on 23 April. The long-awaited Neverness to Everness will be available on 29 April.
