Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Deep Rock Galactic Survivor is available on Play Store and App Store. Play as a dwarf miner on the planet Hoxxes, facing down hordes of deadly aliens as you mine for riches and unlock upgrades. Initial access to the game is free, with the full version available for $10.
  • Sword of Justice is available on Play Store and App Store. The title features an activity-packed Wuxia open-world with AI-driven intelligent NPCs and a dynamic weather system.
  • Timelie is finally available on Play Store and App Store for $6. Accompanied by your cat, you have to solve puzzles by manipulating time like a multimedia player and synchronising your movements.
  • Outrankers, a 3v3 arena MOBA clearly reminiscent of Pokémon Unite in terms of its DA and handling, is available in Japan on Play Store and App Store.

Crystal Ortha, the retro RPG, is available for 9 euros on Play Store and App Store. And finally, the Epic Games game of the week is Scourge Bringer.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • Horizon Steel Frontiers, the MMO in the Horizon Zero Dawn universe, is coming under the NCSoft banner, in collaboration with Guerilla. Use your semi-primitive tools to hunt machines in groups and dominate these wild lands with your loot.
  • Temple Run 3 enters soft launch on Play Store and App Storein Indonesia, Turkey, the Philippines and Thailand. The game places even more emphasis on boosts, with pets to use to push your run even further.
  • Red Dead Redemption arrives on 2 December 2025 on Play Store and App Store via Netflix subscription. You'll get the full single-player campaign and the Undead Nightmare expansion, which modifies the terrain with zombies.
  • Palworld mobile confirms its alpha test before the end of the year. Described as a Pokémon with guns, Palworld mobile is more of a general survival game focusing on pets AND GUNS.

We continue with Ubisoft's announcement of Project Scout , a competitive multiplayer FPS. Heavenly Dragon Saga, the MMO set in the world of Wuxia, opens for pre-registration on Play Store. Aion 2 will be available for regional testing from 10 November on Play Store and App Store. Girls Frontline: Fingertip Breakout will be in closed beta in November via its official website.

Then there'sGintama Sumaho Battle Chronicle, which is now open for pre-registration on its official website. Islanders mobile is out on 20 November on Play Store and App Store. Ratchet & Clank mobile is on its way, and pre-registration is open on its official website. Resident Evil Survival Unit will be released on 18 November on Play Store and App Store.

The Division Resurgence has announced a regional beta on 18 November in the US and Brazil. In the same vein, Minecraft Blast is announcing playtests on the App Store in Malaysia this week. PowerWash Simulator is coming to the Apple Arcade next month. Still on the subject of upcoming releases, Fairytail Wizard Chronicle arrives on Play Store and App Store on 3 December. Total War Napoleon will be available on the App Store on 2 December, for $15.

  • MiHoYo is teasing another UE 5 project on its Chinese networks, which will be an open-world MMO with PVP, an intelligent ecosystem and a realistic fantasy style.
  • Playtika x Disney is preparing a new Disney game, with its subsidiary Superplay taking over to develop a new Disney title following on from Disney Solitaire.
  • Candy Crush has teamed up with Thundercat to create a real lollipop. In fact, the candy contains music that it transmits by bone conduction directly into your mouth.
