  • Inmost is now available on Play Store and App Store. For $4, this horrific platform game lets you play as three characters with distinct play styles in a single narrative lasting between 3 and 5 hours.
  • The Run, the interactive film, is available on App Store. It is entirely produced in Full Motion Video, i.e. shot with actors in a film-like fashion, where each shot is a piece of the story to be unlocked by your choices, like a book in which you are the animated hero.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • Honor of Kings: World will be released in 2026 on Play Store and App Store. The Chinese MOBA follows the adventures of an inexperienced warrior in search of heroism.
  • Supercell's exploration gameThe Boat Game is launching its second alpha. You play as a colourful character with a classic Supercell interface and prepare for action and shooting from your boat as well as on foot on the islands you explore.

For its part, Heartopia is starting its closed beta from 4 to 18 November on Play Store and App Store. Other news and events from the mobile games industry

The mobile JV industry has more news in store for you this week:

  • Squad Buster will be bidding us farewell. The servers are due to close in mid-2026, and we'd like to make it clear to Supercell that releasing their games only to kill them off one after the other isn't enough to break the curse of the super graveyard.
  • The Battle of Polytopia has exceeded 25 million downloads. We highly recommend it, especially as you'll be joining a huge community of fans.

See you next week for a recap of mobile games news!
