Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Raven2 is available on Play Store and App Store. Enter a world of dark fantasy with the class of your choice, such as the elementalist, the berserker or the specter-wielding death-bearer.
  • TOEM A Photo Adventure has just been released on Play Store and App Store. You're a little bird in a hand-drawn world, with endearing characters and a weapon of choice under your wing: your camera.
  • Brave Frontier Versus is out now on Play Store and App Store. Collect your cards and take part in frantic duels with a retro feel... provided you have a small VPN pointed at Japan.
  • Foundation: Galactic Frontier is out on Play Store and App Store. You can now shoot down aliens and add new members to your crew as you cross paths in different parts of the galaxy. The only difference with a classic guild MMORTS is that your base moves through space, as it's your spaceship.

We continue with Dicefolk, the roguelite with strategy and maps, out on Play Store and App Store for 6 euros. The JRPG Isekai Villain is available on Play Store and App Store. Awakenloop, the gacha RPG with waifus, is also available on Play Store and App Store.

Meanwhile, Chaos Zero Nightmare is finally out on Play Store and App Store. Super Creative and Smilegate's RPG relies on its endearing characters to be obtained by gacha, its setting and its DA to charm its audience. Spooky Express, the train puzzle game, has also been released on Play Store and App Store.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • Lost Ark Mobile enters closed beta on 13 November, a 3-day testing phase on Android, iOS and PC powered by Smilegate until 16 November. In this mobile version, expect a new story and new content in addition to the classic MMORPG base.
  • Planet of Lana, a beautiful indie adventure, will be released on Play Store and App Store on 9 December. Playdigious, the French publisher and developer we admire for its high-quality premium mobile ports, will soon be offering this title for just under $10 on the stores.
  • Overfield has started its open beta on Play Store. With a fast-paced combat system, cute characters, supernatural elements and a fair amount of customisation, you'll be able to build your own team as well as your own little HQ.
  • Sonic Rumble, the 32-player battle royale, is set for release on Apple Arcade on 5 November.

Chinami Holic has been announced as a visual novel for the v-tuber Dokugai Chinami. Project N arrives in Japan in 2026. Meet the 5 new Shinobi girls from Master Senran Kagura NEW LINK. And finally, Petit Planet, the next life simulator from Hoyoverse, goes into beta on 7 November.

Other news and events from the mobile games industry

The mobile JV industry has more news in store for you this week:

  • Palworld Mobile will be available to play at G-Star 2025. Described as a pokémon with guns, Palworld Mobile is more of a general survival game focusing on pets AND ALSO ON GUNS. Basically, it's as wtf a mash-up as Craftopia, a previous Pocket Pair game.
  • Netflix acquires the rights to Settlers of Catan. Following the success of its show Exploding Kittens, Netflix is moving into another board game territory by acquiring the rights to Settlers of Catan.

See you next week for a recap of mobile games news!
