Mobi.gg's 220 mobile games news recap

In recap #220, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Sit back and relax as we bring you the week's mobile games news! On the programme: we're loving the release of Parabellum, the global arrival of Blue Protocol, we're warming up to blow up a fort in Besiege mobile and we've got a whole heap of other news to share with you!

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has just been released on Play Store and App Store. The game delves deep into its anime atmosphere and features raids, bosses and cross-platform play. Create your own hero on the continent of Magna, and alternate between combat, exploration and chill-out moments.
  • Parabellum: Siege of Legends is now available on Play Store and App Store. It's a city-building game where you play as several characters, with a story to discover that really enriches the basic Kingdom formula.
  • M00m World is out on Play Store and App Store, a cyberpunk MMO with a cosy atmosphere and retro colours that brings together the stories of the webcomic and the audio series in a single opus.
  • Kingdom Rush Battles is available on Play Store and App Store. In this well-established tower defence game, you set up your defences in 9 different arenas, using your towers, heroes and spells to defeat your opponents or bosses.

We continue with Endless Worlds, a small MMO that has just been released on Play Store. Monster Walk, available on Play Store and App Store, lets you collect monsters, pit them against each other and build up power as you walk. Dodgeball Dojo, released on Play Store and App Store, combines card-discarding gameplay with colourful characters and graphics inspired by Dragon Ball or Hunter x Hunter.

Then there's Hasbro's Sorry! World on Play Store and App Store. My Om Nom lets you raise the Cut de Rope mascot tamagoshi-style on Play Store.

And finally, the Epic Games Store game of the week is Double Dragon Trilogy.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and testing phases

Here's a selection of the pre-registrations and beta releases that made their mark this week on Android and iOS.

  • HunterxHunter Nen X Survivor has been announced for 2026. For once, the iconic licence is skipping the pure gacha RPG format in favour of Survivor.
  • Dawnmaker is coming soon to mobile. Dive into the heart of a single-player strategy game with a rather optimistic take on the return of the light. Dawnmaker is available to test very soon via a Google form!
  • The Traitors, the adaptation of the famous reality show, is coming to mobile. Inspired by The Werewolf and Among Us, we're hoping for some tense gameplay and a well-honed multiplayer feel.
  • Besiege is now open for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store, ahead of its release on 18 November. Use and abuse the 70 building blocks, 55 levels and sandbox modes to create tanks, planes and catapults with a bit of crazy physics.

Meanwhile, MMO Raven2 is preparing for release on Play Store and App Store on 22 October. Jetpack Joyride Racing, a multiplayer racing game, arrives on Play Store and App Store on 13 November. Then there's The Run, an FMV that will be arriving for Halloween on 28 October on Play Store and App Store.

And finally, Tenkemo , a cozy life simulation MMORPG, has just been announced for Play Store, App Store, PV and Switch.

Other news and events from the mobile games industry

There's more from the mobile JV industry this week:

  • Netflix is pulling out all the stops with a new style of game: party games on your screens. The greatest classics of the genre, such as Pictionnary and Boogle, are being brought to the American gaming and SVOD service.
  • Apple Arcade offers My Sims and My Sims Kingdom for 6 November. For the start of autumn, the list is growing with the arrival of Football Manager Touch 2026 and Toca Boca Jr.

See you next week for a recap of the latest mobile games news!
