Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on the stores:

  • Valorant Mobile is out in China on TapTap and App Store. You'll need 8-10GB to play it, a dedicated app from Haoyou Kuaidao and a QQ or WeChat account.
  • All Who Wander has just been released on Play Store and App Store for $8. In maps divided into hexagonal tiles, make tactical progress by choosing your spells and positioning carefully.
  • Block Fortress 2 is out on Play Store. Build your defences, share your builds with the community and become a real war machine in these totally destructible environments.

And finally, Strange Horticulture is this week's free game on the Epic Games Store.

Pre-registration, announcements, updates and testing phases

  • Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, the open-world MMORPG developed by BOKURA, has finally announced the opening of pre-registration on Play Store and App Store.
  • Rust Mobile will launch its closed beta in early November for players in France, Japan, the Canade, Germany and the UK.
  • Roco Kingdom: World, the creature-collecting MMORPG, has just opened pre-registration on iOS in China, with an anticipated release date of 31 December 2025.
  • Crisis X confirms its release date for the second half of 2026. Come and slaughter brain-eaters with guns and realistic military vehicles, base building and crafting galore in the open-world.

Awaken Astral Blade, the metroidvania already available on PC, has opened pre-registration on iOS. Limit Zero Breakers will be on show at the Tokyo Game Show. IGG's Mafia Mobile is now open for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store, with a release date of 17 September 2025.

Seven Deadly Sins Origin launches its closed beta for PC and Playstation players, pending the official release date. Timelie, the puzzle game featuring infiltration, is launching pre-registration ahead of its full release on Play Store and App Store on 12 November. Meanwhile, MONGIL: STAR DIVE, an action-RPG from Netmarble in the direct sequel to Monster Taming, is launching pre-registrations.

Parabellum, the city-building game inspired by Kingdom Two Crowns, is now open for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store. Abyssdia, the RPG combat game, will be released on 20 August in Japan. As for Anchor Panic, the gacha with waifus, it's launching its closed beta and is already available for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store.

Last but not least, Resonance Solstice has announced a closed beta via Discord and Disney Magic Match 3D is now available for pre-registration on Play Store and App Store.

Other news and events from the mobile games industry

The mobile JV industry has other news in store for you this week:

  • Gamescom's opening night live is all about gacha games and FPSs. There were trailers for Arknights: Endfield, Neverness to Everness and Honor of Kings Worl.
  • Youtuber Melon Parker's group is giving itself a visual novel, fully dubbed and developed by CyberStep under its Rabbitfoot brand. It's due out on 27 November for PS4, Switch, PC, iOS and Android.
