In this recap issue 207, we take a look at the week's must-have mobile games releases, mobile news and pre-registrations/test phases not to be missed.

Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on stores:

  • Etheria Restart is now available on Play Store and App Store and plunges you into a post-apocalyptic world after an ice age. You play as a Hyperlinkeer, able to control Animus to take part in tactical battles in PvE and PvP. The game features a rich story, character synergies and a variety of challenges on both stores.
  • Parallel Experiment is available on Play Store and App Store for $7.50, offering a rare cooperative experience for two. Solve puzzles, interrogate suspects and make your way through a dark investigation with escape room-style gameplay.
  • Shapez goes free on the Epic Games Store mobile this week from 5pm on Thursday. This minimalist management game challenges you to organise production lines to transform geometric shapes.
  • Trail Blazer Racing revs up its engines on Play Store with an off-road racing experience. With its canyons, mud and crazy jumps, the game offers a nervous driving experience, even if the graphics are a little lacking.

Pre-registration, announcements, updates and test phases

  • Aniimo is an open-world creature-collecting RPG coming to console, PC and mobile in 2026. Developed by FunPlus and Pawprint Studio, the game plunges you into a fairytale world populated by Aniimo, which you can fuse to obtain new skills.
  • Marvel Mystic Mayhem will be released globally on 25 June. This tactical RPG gacha lets you form a squad of three iconic superheroes to take on Nightmare. Get your powers ready for this strategic experience on Play Store and App Store.
  • AlternaVvelt: Blue Exorcist is preparing for its international release on PC, Play Store and App Store on 25 June. This game based on the Blue Exorcist universe features an original story and brand new characters created by Kazue Kato, the mangaka behind the licence.
  • Chaos Zero Nightmare will open for pre-registration in mid-July, with a promising gameplay trailer. The game combines dark fantasy, card-based combat, roguelike and cinematic scenes.

Then there's Mongil: Star Dive, the action-RPG and direct sequel to Monster Taming, which will be launching its closed beta from 19 to 26 June. Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, the open-world narrative game based on the world of Moomins, goes on pre-registration on Play Store and App Store.

Meanwhile, the adaptation of Square Enix's cult MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World, is coming to mobile in China on 19 June, while Rewinding Cadence, the tactical time-loop RPG, is opening pre-registration on Play Store in China. You have just 42 days to save humanity with the help of your spirit companions.

We continue with Mecha BREAK, the multiplayer shooter that propels you into ultra-fast mecha battles, is up for pre-registration on Play Store and will be released on 1 July. Boxville 2 arrives on Play Store and App Store on 26 June and continues the poetic formula of the first opus. You still play as cans in a hand-drawn puzzle adventure.

As for True Fear 3, the harrowing point-and-click game, it will be out on 3 July on Play Store and App Store and will conclude Holly Stonehouse's horrific trilogy. Sniper Elite 5 is gearing up for release on iOS in 2026. Play as Karl Fairburne in an undercover war at the height of the Second World War.

Please, Watch the Artwork, announced at Summer Game Fest, is Thomas Waterzooi's new game, the spiritual sequel to Please, Touch the Artwork, which will be released on mobile, PC and Switch. Hitman: World of Assassination is coming to iOS this summer, with the entire Agent 47 trilogy.

Then there's Roterra 6: Royal Adventure , coming soon to conclude the saga. A poetic game a la Monument Valley, available only on the App Store. Roadman, the multiplayer simulator, is out on Play Store on 19 June (and later on iOS), with a GTA-style sandbox atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Happy Citizens , with its chilled-out vibe and caring city management, goes on pre-registration on Play Store. Take care of every citizen in a colourful, happy world. We end this recap with Eat the Rich, the satirical game where you have to overthrow the established order, due out on 23 July on PC and a little later on PlayStation, Xbox, Play Store and App Store.
