Mobile games releases of the week

This week has been rich in release announcements, with many games now available on stores:

  • Seven Spies is available for free on the App Store and offers a turn-based social deduction game for 4 to 7 players. Infiltration, bomb defusing and gadgets worthy of Totally Spies are all on the menu. The perfect way to liven up evenings out with friends!
  • Vampire's Fall 2 has arrived on Play Store and App Store with its tactical 2D combat, PvP, lively open world and dark atmosphere. The sequel to 2018's Origins, this old-school RPG plunges you into a new vampiric epic, full of decisions and possibilities.
  • Patch Quest joins the Crunchyroll Gaming subscription via Play Store and App Store. This cute and dynamic game takes you to the island of Patchlantis to tame or escape over 50 monsters. Playable solo or in co-op, it combines metroidvania exploration and creature collecting in a colourful, mysterious universe.
  • Resonance Solstice is launching globally on Play Store and App Store, after attracting curious onlookers with its space railway universe. With its polished art direction and love of trains, the title promises a unique journey for fans of originality on mobile.

We continue with What the Duck, the TD based on warrior ducks, available now on Play Store and App Store. Finally, the remake of the famous Korean game White Day is available as a Crunchyroll Gaming subscription via Play Store and App Store, with its school horror atmosphere.

Pre-registrations, announcements, updates and test phases

  • Valorant Mobile could well be released on 25 November 2025, according to a mysterious update on the App Store page. Riot Games is keeping a tight lid on things, but the most attentive fans believe that this date is no coincidence. All that's left is to sharpen your aim while you wait for confirmation.
  • Sea of Remnants was unveiled at State of Play and promises a single-player maritime RPG adventure set against a backdrop of piracy. This free-to-play game lets you take on the role of an amnesiac sailor in tactical combat and immersive exploration, with over 300 characters to meet. It's coming to Play Store, App Store, PC and PS5 in 2026, with a graphic style inspired by comic books.
  • Feed the Deep will be available on the App Store on 19 June. The brainchild of Luke Muscat, creator of Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja, this marine exploration game turns your fear of the abyss into an oppressive but captivating gaming experience. Part treasure hunt, part underwater horror, it's reminiscent of Dave the Diver, but with a much more claustrophobic edge.
  • Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra resurrects the licence's buried MOBA project under a new name. This 4v4 PvP game will combine team strategy and Dragon Ball collection in dynamic arenas. A closed beta will be announced shortly, with sign-ups to watch out for on the official website.

Meanwhile, the card game Sonic Blitz has begun its soft launch in the Philippines on Play Store and App Store, while Seven Deadly Sins Origin showed off a new trailer at Summer Game Fest. Then there's Project Spirits, revealed by SHIFT UP, creators of Nikke and Stellar Blade. This sci-fi fantasy game with an anime feel is aiming for a 2027 release on PC and mobile, with crossplay announced.

FIFA Rivals is launching pre-registration on Play Store, with early access in certain regions. It is expected to be released around the time of the World Cup in mid-June. We continue in the same vein with SEGA Football Club Champions 2025, which is also preparing to hit the mobile pitch.

We continue with LHEA and the Word Spirit , which is aiming for an August release with a magical roguelite-style puzzle game, and Cat Quest 3, which mixes 2.5D exploration, hack'n'slash and coope, will hit the App Store on 8 August. And the RPG Light: Path of the Archmage will hit the App Store in 2025.

See you next week for a recap of mobile games news!
